I purchased this in 2016, and for these last 2 years it has worked without a hiccup. Excellent functions included.
The amp section proved to be everything that we needed it to be. We used the amp to drive both monitors and mains in a small church. The DSP was another issue. After downloading Crown's latest software to a high-end laptop and allowing the software to update, we were never able to get the DSP out of...
I love my new Crown amp. It replaces the butterflied Crown CE1000 that was onboard my JBL MPro418SP bass bin. It handles throbbing bass without breaking a sweat. This is how bass amplification should be. I will never-ever again purchase an speaker with an amp onboard (except for studio monitors).
The machine is great. Understanding how to set it to levels, well, you may need a sound engineering degree for that.
The Crown XTi 2002 is very quite. You could put a mic in the same room and still record your music.
No problems so far. Loads of power in bridged mono mode. Sonically fine, would recommend.
I have purchased several of these units and they stand as our primary amplifier for all our set-ups. We currently are Central Florida's #1 DJ Service and our equipment is a big part of that.
