This durable mechanical keyboard comes paired with great software. The custom lighting is a bit tricky at first, but once you figure it out, the possibilities are endless.

Authentic Cherry MX Red switches., Superior software., Dust/spill proof.

Ho-hum plastic wrist rest., Help button poorly explains the "static" lighting option.
I was surprised that the red backing on the keyboard, which essentially protects the key switches from liquid and dust did not impact how the keyboard felt. The keyboard has no flex in it at all and feels just like any other Corsair “K” series keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches.

– Solid “K” Corsair design we all love, – Cherry MX red switches, – Spill and dust proof, – Dedicated multimedia keys, – Included wrist rest

– No RGB LEDs, – No other key switch choice besides Cherry MX Red
The older, non-RGB CORSAIR K68 launched a little over six months ago at an MSRP of $99.99 and currently sells for $89.99. As a direct comparison, this K68 RGB costs $30 more. In addition, the even older STRAFE RGB costs $139.99-$149.99 for the version with Cherry MX Red RGB switches, and it is only...

Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) is extremely powerful, Full programmability and software profiles allow for the use of different OS/typing/language layouts, Dust and fluid-spill resistance works well enough, Onboard controls allow lighting-effect customization for those who prefer not to use a software...

Stock keycaps really need to be improved, especially compared to the PBT replacement set now available, The rubber molds lead to a mushy, unsatisfying typing experience, Some features/accessories are omitted to hit a price point where other competitors include those feature/accessories
It’s always nice to see a spill resistant keyboard and although in the past that was the case only with membrane models now it seems that mechanical models are heading that way as well.

We've reviewed quite a few Corsair keyboards already. This round a Cherry MX keyboard that remains a bit more affordable, with the addition of RGB configurability. The K68 is a notch cheaper compared to it's bigger brothers, but it certainly plays the same, gaming wise you cannot complain at all as...
What is a keyboard designed according to APH Networks specifications? It is actually pretty simple. All I want is a clean looking, down to earth mechanical keyboard with real Cherry MX switches, dedicated media keys on the side, backlit, and a comfortable attached wrist rest.
Well the question everyone has been waiting for to be answered! Well you wouldn’t want to take keyboard under water and try typing your thesis but the keyboard will take on you typical spills all day long. The keyboard does have limitations to the waterproofing.

The Corsair K68 Mechanical Keyboard is a great peripheral to own as a person who aims for a communicative computer. It looks amazing and feels great to use. But, the keyboard’s niggles cannot be overlooked for the price it commands over a standard keyboard.
The Corsair K68 RGB is one of our favorite keyboards we have reviewed, affordable, fully customizable and has achieved some very high scores from us.
We’ve all done it. I’ve even ruined a rather expensive gaming laptop doing it. And yet, I still keep a long, tall glass of water on my desk every day (not to mention multiple mugs of tea) because I’m an idiot who can’t learn from her own mistakes. Right next to my keyboard.
Will satisfy you if you are looking for a mechanical keyboard. Don't settle on this one unless it is a steal.

The Corsair Utility Engine is just bad... like really buggy and will automatically set it to a wave light function. To fix the issue you have to make a custom setting and manually click each key on the screen image.
Its a very ggood keyboard except for the keys sometimes popping out mid-work.
