I would like to assure you that this review was written after I fully tested the Celestron Trailseeker 8x42 binoculars and is my honest opinion of it. The facts and figures are those that were supplied to me or that I have researched on the web and I believe them to be true, however sometimes...
The image quality of these glasses is among the best I have seen based on sharpness and brightness during low light observations. Near sunset, shady areas under bushes and in evergreen trees with dark shadows appear black or nearly so to the unaided eye.
was sent to wrong address and ups charges $3 to change address. instruction book is not clear. still dont know how to use range finder and idk if the compass doesnt work or i havent figured out how it works. dont buy for the features.
I probably had unrealistic expectations for a binocular at this price point, that said they felt well built andcertainly worked as should, just the image was disapointing
I just purchased this for our safari in Tanzania. They were easy to customize the focus for my eyes and were really clear and quick to focus. I should have gotten the 10x42 though, due to the amount of birdwatching we did. Beautiful bino's love the material for handling, no slip or slide.
I was looking for a small sized binoculars for astronomy that I can use for travel and is not insanely expensive. I have tried the 10x50 which are hard to hold steady and much bigger. They are better at astronomy too if you can hold them steady and are ok with weight and size for travel.
