This binocular has just about all the features as my 8 x 30 Swarovski SLC pair except the Celestron is significantly lighter. I can't tell the difference in optical quality unless I am holding both pairs, raising one and then the other to my eyes. If I were to go on a rugged expedition.

I purchased these binoculars to fit in my camera bag and the size was perfect. I was amazed at how bright everything appeared even in inclement weather in Alaska. The ability to spot sea lions with pups floating on glacier ice flows from quite a long distance proved these binoculars were top notch.

Can't really fault these at all. They do the job, are easy to hold and operate, give a very clear image and come with a strap, case and covers for the lenses. I chose these because they are made of magnesium alloy rather than plastic, so they will weigh a bit more then the plastic equivalent but I...

Bought this for my husband's birthday. He likes the light weight and large viewing area. These are by far the best for looking at birds. I tried them and was really impressed. I usually have trouble using binoculars, because I wear glasses.

These are outstanding. I was originally set on purchasing Nikon Monarch 5, but that plan was quickly put to rest after viewing through these. There is nothing that comes close to the performance of the trailblazer for less than $
