I highly recommend Celestron 8x42, 10x42 and 12x56 Nature DX Binoculars. I am an astronomer and an experienced binocular user for astronomy, bird and nature watching. I have experience with Zeiss, Swift, Swarovski, Minox, Barska and Celestron binoculars and spotting scopes.
Great eye relief, sharpness, contrast, close focus. These are not cheap but compare very well with bins costing much more. Lot's good features "small features" like twist up eye cups. I use for birding and astronomy.
I'm a birdwatcher in the cloudy Northwest and just bought these for especially overcast days. The large 56 mm lenses gather a large amount of light with very little purple fringing. They feel sturdy and the focus knob works smoothly.
I'm very pleased with the Celestron binoculars. I primarily us them for birding and so far they are great.
Awesome Binoculars at a reasonable price. Excellent Clarity.
A family member has the Swarovski equivalent but these cost 10 times as much. Classified as beginner binoculars I would say that they are almost in the same category as the Swarovskis.

Durable, Great Features, Great Picture Quality, Lightweight, Simple Controls
I have only used these twice so far, once for terrestrial viewing and once for looking at the moon. On both occasions I was impressed with the clarity. These binoculars are solidly put together and feel very durable.
Very disappointed. With three days of use the eye piece fell off. Made worse when I bought them for a wildlife trip and they didn't see the week out.Would suggest looking at other alternative all my other binoculars have lasted 10 years +
