Just getting started trying to remember piano lessons many many years ago. Have been playing some nursery rhymes and the sound is full and keys are easy to play. Haven't figured out all the buttons yet, but I am happy with the purchase. Not happy with the stand.
I have used Casios for 20 + years and now have 2 of these 245 wk casios; one that stays in the house and one that stays in my van. I play for a lot of nursing homes and senior living places so it gets used a lot.
Bundled stand is basically useless. There is nothing to secure keyboard to the stand, it just sits on top, slides if pushed. To make it worse, it doesn't even sit flat. Maybe stand is warped, one corner doesnt even touch the keyboard, making keyboard to wobble when pushed down on.
We bought this keyboard for an 11-year-old who is fascinated with pianos and electronics. The selection of backgrounds and sounds is amazing, it has a record and save feature, and provides him with as much variety and entertainment as he could want.
Keyboard has many features but to use it with the included bench, the stand is the wrong size and Cassio says they have no shorter stands. The stand will extend between 28 and 36 inches high and to play sitting on the bench, you need a stand 24 inches high.
I bought this for my 13 year old daughter. She loves it. It is bigger and higher quality than expected for the price.
I bot this keyboard for my son, who is almost 5 feet tall. The stand's lowest position is too high for him. The bench only adjust to two settings. So the lowest setting on the stand and highest on the bench is still too high for him.
Kids love it. Great product. Lots of different options.
Upon retirement I decided to learn to play the piano. Since we have limited space and limited funds, I decided to buy a keyboard. After much research I concluded that the WK-245 would meet my needs.
The keyboard is great, our daughter loves it, the only problem we had with it was assembling the keyboard stand, fortunately I had a tap and die set that I could tap out ALL the threaded inserts while trying to assemble the stand, otherwise it would not have gone together.
quality control on the stand could be better
