First of all, please disregard the negative reviews of this lens due to it not having any sort of image stabilizing feature, thus producing "blurry" photos. This is very apparent considering the price, and folks who buy this thinking they're going to shoot great handheld photos at their kid's dimly...
Brand spanking new and I love that (who doesn't?!?!) I haven't tested it on any close ups from far away yet but I will in the next few weeks and will report back!
Bought this one a while back and have been very satisfied with it. Just like a few others on here mentioned, quality can be a bit fuzzy when not using a tripod but it still pretty decent. Would not be my first choice to recommend to a professional but definitely great to start out with and learn.
Considering the poor reviews that I've read on this lens, I was impressed with its overall performance. The AF speed seems fast and accurate, and I don't notice any lens distortions. The image stabilization seems poor, however, and you need a tripod for low-light, zoom shots.
Great for Beginners & intermediates, If your looking for a Telephoto lens then you've realized you want more from your camera. As long as you know how to hold your camera with a telephoto lens this is the one you want.
easy to use for crisp pics at a distance.
I love this new lens. It offers high quality zoom capabilities without the steep prices of the competition. But its not so good if you have shaky hands. But a tripod or proper stances will have you set.
I bought this as a package deal with the Canon Rebel EOS T3 and, as part of the package, it is definitely worth the price. I live next to the Fair Hill Nature Resource Area and take a lot of wildlife and landscape photos and have found this lens to be useful although, not perfect.
Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight
I am very pleased with the purchase of my Canon EF 75-300mm lense. I use my lense primarily for taking sports photos. It works well. The lense is light weight and durable. I would recommend this lense.
Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged, Strong Construction
I picked this lens up for its range. I use it on a T2i. I'm more of a wide-angle guy so I just wanted this lens for when the urge struck me to take pictures of birds and far away things.
cheap, light, long
soft and CA at wide apertures
very good quality in all aspects,I pull some pictures of some houses on a mountain at night and the picture came out sharp as crystal clear ,think during the day.
