Last year's ELPH, the 100 HS, was one of the best point and shoot digital cameras of 2011. This newest model, the 110 HS, adds some key upgrades like a wider zoom range and 16 megapixel sensor. Will these upgrades be enough to continue Canon's dominance in the sector?
The PowerShot 110 HS is a very nice entry-level point-and-shoot suited for casual shooters, families and travelers.
Sharp, wide angle lens, Fast AF, Compact and portable
Limited zoom range, Less-than-stellar at high ISO, For $10 310 HS offers 8x zoom
The slim and compact 16-megapixel Canon PowerShot Elph 110 HS boasts a very sharp, wide lens, but is hampered by noise at higher ISO settings and a limited zoom range.
Sharp 24mm wide-angle lens. Fast focus and continuous shooting. Compact.
Limited zoom range. So-so high ISO performance. Noisy zoom.
The Canon PowerShot ELPH 110 HS performs well for the price -- it's fast, boasts high image quality, and shoots full HD video. Attractive shooting modes and a high-resolution LCD make both shooting and browsing images enjoyable.
Nice 24mm wide angle lens, High-resolution 3-inch LCD (461,000 dots), High-sensitivity CMOS sensor, Fast performance from the DIGIC 5 processor, Smart Auto selects settings from 58 predefined situations, Face ID focus and exposure priority, Multi-area white balance, Intelligent image stabilization...
5x optical zoom range can be limiting, Noisy zoom can be heard during video playback, Smooth Skin mode can look unattractive
The Canon PowerShot ELPH 110 HS is a cheap, truly tiny compact camera.
Loved the picture quality, but hate the lack of durability, the screen died long belong the rest of it. So it still takes great pictures, I just can't see what I'm taking a picture of. My last Canon had a bum battery compartment latch...
Great camera for its price. Don't expect much from this little camera but it does it jobs.
Got this in the mail a week quicker than it said.I got not one, but two wrist straps that had originally been missing from the order. I only wish the warnings had stated the scratches were on the screen instead of being vaguely noted. That's the only reason for the lack of being five stars.
I was a bit skeptical buying a used camera, thinking that there had to be some sort of catch. But I LOVE this camera! The pictures are a bit too clear with the face, really enhancing it(so it sucks if you have blemishes) but it's awesome! The sound is decent, and it's a very "new" looking camera.
I purchased this camera as a less expensive replacement for my husband's Sony Handycam. My husband has a web show that he does for fun (no ads) so when I saw this camera had high recommendations as a budget vlogging camera I thought it could possibly be a viable replacement.
loved it back then, wish they still made it!
I love this camera, but why is it so expensive after all this time?
rely grate camera ,thanks!
I love this thing. Lightweight, slim and pretty good video quality - wide angle lens so if you needed to take videos of yourself, this is perfect.
Gift for granddaughter and she loves it
