The Canon Pixma MX922 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer more than makes up for its slow speed for business applications with its output quality and MFP features.
Prints, faxes, scans, copies. Prints on discs. Automatic document feeder. Ethernet. Wi-Fi.
We liked the MX922 a lot, and it meets, even exceeds, our expectations for a quality business AIO. But we’d like it even more if the per-page cost of ink were more competitive.
Strong feature set, Good-looking document and exceptional photo output, Easy to use, Good photo-scan and copy quality, Auto-duplexing ADF
Somewhat sluggish, High cost per page
If you always print enough pages so that fast speed is an absolute requirement, for that matter, you'll want to look elsewhere. However, for most home, home office, and micr office use, the Canon PIXMA MX922 Wireless Color Photo Printer should be fast enough.
One of the newer models in Canon's ever-popular and reliable PIXMA line, the MX922 is full of fantastic features and is a worthy example of the type of MFP's the company produces on a consistent basis.
This printer replaced another Cannon. I use it only for two weeks, so I can;t comment about cartridges uses. In regard to scanning, the software won't let me choose to save it to one of my files, using the name I want.
Like I said in the cons section, this printer started to give us issues after about a year that I was unable to fix. The magenta print head would get clogged, I tried disassembling the print head and cleaning manually, auto cleaning, nothing worked.
print quality is good, ink use is pretty efficient, can accept non-Canon inks, wireless features worked well
very slow to start up and print, we had clogging and print heads issues about a year after purchasing
I hope this printer will last longer than my MG5220. It was cheaper to replace the whole printer then buy a new header for the printer. Always was a fan of Canon, but if this one fails, I may have to start looking elsewhere.
Easy setup, great printing qualities
None at the moment.
This all in one print scan and fax device works as expected, and has been reliable so far. The setup was simple in Windows 10, and was not too much of a challenge in Ubuntu Linux. Search the internet for latest information on the installation of the ScanGear package speciically for this model and it...
I've had good success with Canon printers in the past, but, wow, after all the bad reviews on this printer, you would think that Canon would try to fix the issues people have been having since the printer debuted.
I purchased this printer to replace an identical one that had served well for several years (text was getting blurry every third line and I couldn't solve it). It works fine in all modes although it takes a while to cycle (and makes noise doing so) as it decides to print.
The printer works great on the USB cable and copies also. It does back-to-back copies and print just great. I can't get it to work wireless for any thing. From reading online, Canon knows about the problem and hasn't done much about it. It has been a problem for some time it sounds like.
We have purchased four of these printers for office use in our mid-sized business. We use these to compliment the larger HP color printers that are dedicated printers. These are simply too good a deal to pass up.
This printer is very nice. I can't seem to get the printer set for air print. It says that It can and it doesn't work from home.
