A bit bulky, Buffer struggles with long bursts, Animal Eye AF under-performed, Short 4K recording due to overheating
The EOS R6 may have been over-shadowed by the headline-grabbing R5, but quietly becomes one of the most compelling cameras in Canon’s range. Compared to the R5, it may lack the 45 Megapixels, 8k video, slow-motion 4k, more detailed viewfinder and slightly tougher build, but it’s more notable how...
The Canon EOS R6 is a full-featured, fast, high-performing, mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with a relatively low resolution and a mid-level price. The R6 has a Canon EOS 6-series heritage, but the R6's real-world performance is approaching that of the top-of-the-line Canon EOS-1D X Mark III...

Andy Westlake takes a first look at Canon’s exciting new mirrorless all-rounder
I upgraded from a Rebel T7i. Originally was looking at the R5, but I do not shoot video and I didn’t want to deal with the file sizes. I have had the R6 for a few days now and am loving it!!! Can’t wait to bring it on my weekend trip coming up!
