Canon has been doing great strides in the mirrorless category and the EOS M6 is a testament to this. With merely 6 months from the release of the M5, the EOS M6 made proper adjustments to the exterior of the camera that made it more vlogger-friendly.

The Canon EOS M6 is as much a success as it is a conundrum: it's well built, easy to control and works well thanks to that tilt-angle touchscreen and combination of physical dials. In that regard this is Canon aligning its mirrorless camera into its best position to date.

It took me a while to warm to the Canon EOS M6, but the more I used it the more liked it. The camera sits in the hand nicely and a real strong point is its intuitive layout and controls that can be customised to suit one’s shooting preferences.

To get the best results out of the EOS M6/15-45mm combo you have to shoot raw files. And that's something snapshooters simply won't do. And with 99% of snapshooters using their smartphones for almost all of their shots, there's little to attract consumers to buy cameras like the M6.

I was looking for a lightweight easy to pack and carry backup camera for when I shoot travel. I took a risk in the new M6 and took it to Paris for a workout. I was excellent, easy to use flip viewer, nice simple lens, and most important a great file size.

Overall, this is a great little camera. I bought it for street shooting when my SLR is just too big and obtrusive. I also do a lot of biking and hiking, and having something a bit smaller and lighter is nice when I don't want to lug my Nikon SLR.

My Verdict is still out on this camera. But so far the auto focus is spot on and has never failed me. I will comeback and update this after a few weeks of use.

This camera is best-in-class for its size.The only issue to consider with Canon's line of mirrorless cameras is the poor selection of native lenses. The EF-M adapter is mandatory for any extremely serious shooter for the time being.

What a fun but powerful 13 oz camera. I love the articulated viewing screen. This is a very versatile camera and the 18-150 mm lense great.
