This Camera is amazing! I have been procrastinating for over a year on whether or not to buy it. In fact I have spoken with several people that advised against purchasing this one and recommended other camera's. I just couldn't do it and finally made the purchase.
I LOVE THIS CAMERA. Yep, I bought this with the 24-105 and added a 16-35 MKIII to the mix. I am going to be filming a documentary this summer and while I own a few mirrorless and DSLR cameras, none were giving me the look I was after.
Had this camera for about 2 years. I trust it and it has never let me down. Picture quality is great and low light is great too. I like the way the camera looks and all the buttons you can use insted of going into the menu to find what your looking for. Very intuitive to use.
The market is obsessed with specifications: 35 mbps vs 50 mbps, 8 bit vs 10 bit, 422 vs 420, and so on. Because of this, Canon Cinema Cameras often get slammed -- their numbers just aren't able to go toe to toe with Sony and Panasonic.
If you are on the fence, get off right away. This camera and the included ninja are worth every penny. I've owned it for a month, and it's already generating revenue.
Good image produced by Canon, definitely has the skin correct unlike sony which has an off skintone
I had been shooting with a Canon 70D and wanted to upgrade the video quality and researched a lot of cameras and settled on the C100 Mark II because of the functionality. I realized once you outfit a dslr with all the support gear your looking at almost the same price s the C100.
Loved the camera - will be posting a full review soon!
The ISO range is outstanding. It makes it easy to capture beautiful shots at night with few lights. I love it!
Not happy with the green cast on all footage, no matter the white balance, expose or camera profile (including C-Log).
