The EOS R10 will be available, body-only, for a recommended selling price of $979. Kit options include a bundle with the compact, collapsible 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM for $1099 or with the 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM for around $1379.
The Canon EOS R10 is a mid-range cropped-frame mirrorless camera with a 24 Megapixel APS-C sensor and 4k 60p video. In my hands-on first-looks review I'll show you everything I know so far!
Smaller and lighter than the Canon EOS R7, the Canon EOS R10 still has the features and technology to make it more rounded and versatile than EOS M-series cameras like the Canon EOS M50 Mark II.

+
Phase detection focusing and intelligent subject detection, Same mount as Canon R3, R5 and R6, Small and light
-
-
Limited RF-S lens range, No in-body stabilisation
OK, so with the more affordable and less feature-rich Canon EOS R10, when compared to the higher resolution EOS R7 released alongside it, we don’t get features such as the R7’s body integral image stabilisation that will be useful when using longer, heavier telephoto lenses, or the dual SD card...
-
+
Affordable, all-rounder entry camera, Tried and trusted brand, 24.2-megapixel resolution, Lightweight
-
-
Very close in price to better R7
The Canon EOS R10 is a versatile little powerhouse and one of the best cameras around for beginners. Thanks to its modern autofocus smarts and good handling, it's an affordable way into the EOS R system for new converts and an enjoyable second camera for existing Canon fans.

+
Compact and lightweight, Impressive autofocus smarts, Speedy burst mode, Good value
-
-
No in-body image stabilization, Cropped 4K/60p video, Single card slot, Small viewfinder
Canon’s junior RF-mount APS-C mirrorless model packs a lot of features into a small body. Andy Westlake sees how it stacks up against the competition
-
+
Compact size and light weight make it easy to carry, Excellent control layout and handling, especially given the small size, Subject detection autofocus works very well, Very good image quality in both JPEG and raw, Supports EF-mount DSLR lenses via mount adapter
-
-
Viewfinder is disappointingly small, No in-body image stabilisation, Extremely limited native APS-C RF-S lens range
As an entry-level model, the EOS R10 will appeal to photographers looking for a relatively small and light interchangeable-lens camera with a good (and useable) range of controls, 4K video recording, fast burst shooting and an affordable price tag.
The Canon EOS R10 wows with an autofocus system that smartly recognizes and tracks subjects, but older sensor tech keeps it from being the best camera you can buy at this price.

+
Superb subject recognition and autofocus, 15fps mechanical and 23fps electronic shutter, Solid ergonomics and control layout, Articulating display, Built-in flash, 4K60 video in SDR or HDR, Already works with more lenses than any EOS M body, Supports Canon SLR lenses via an adapter

Image sensor isn't stabilized, 8-bit SDR video doesn't have flat profile, Basic CMOS sensor doesn't match up with BSI chips, So-so battery life
R10 is light, ergonomic and easy to handle. The buttons and dials are well placed. Autofocus and shutter speed are great. Image quality is good overall. The R10 is a perfect camera for travel and family photos. The lens rf-s 18-150mm is really good.
This is my first professional camera and is great for a beginner. It’s easy to use and has lots of bells and whistles. My photos come out beautiful
The AF system is excellent and it's a fairly compact body. I really like the 15fps stills option combined with the animal eye AF
Camera: Canon EOS R10 Lenses: RF100-400mm F5.6-8 is USM, RF-S18-150mm Lens Very nice camera at its price.. After lot of research finally bought this camera and lenses. Much satisfied with results. Not an expert in photography but enjoying taking pics :)
(+) positive findings: + similar grip and handling to other Canon bodies + include advanced functions, which was strictly dedicated to higher end cameras, such as C1, C2 modes, many programable buttons, advanced ISO settings, etc.
I bought this last month to replace my EOS100D and I feel that I have something that will help me improve my photography. Light so I can easily take it everywhere and full of helpful functions. Great autofocus biggest benefit and, with adapter, I can use my extensive stock of EF and EF-S lenses.
Had this camera for one month it still works great! The EVF, buffer and battery life is way better than I had expected.Lovely backpack and packaging too.
Lovely camera so many features but easy to follow. Adapter was a must as it lets me use my old lenses but this package meant I could use it straight away. Love it
I was used to the Canon M6 mkii but frustrated with the limited lens range that was specifically designed for it. Particularly with 200 mm max. (EF lenses don't balance well on it!)Wanted to explore wild life photography so invested in R10 with 18-150 lens and 100-400 rf Lens.
I bought an R10. Amazing little camera.
