Nice features (once you know how to use them)
Fortunately this microwave is fairly intuitive to use. I've been happy with the features I've used. (Primarily sensor reheat and air fry.) I have not used the convection bake feature.
My only complaint is that the "instructions" for how to use the different accessories included (pan and rack on legs) were non existent in the manual. I had to google, watch countless youtube videos and look on Reddit forums to understand it. I ended up buying a 3rd party air fry pan that works MUCH better than the accessories included. You would think that for such an expensive appliance that has so many features, that there would be better documentation and accessories.

Air Fry needs more documentation
I bought this model specifically because it had Air Fry. Unfortunately, I'm finding it really doesn't work for air fry recipes I find on the internet...it's really nothing like a traditional air fry. Times are totally different. And there's NO documentation, other than how to use the presets and how to manually set time and temp. How do I adjust time if I'm using an AIR FRY recipe I've used in a traditional Air Fryer? There's 3 configurations for shelf / pan / etc...which one do I use when? Is there some sort of cafe user group where we can find recipes specific to this type of air fryer? Because none of the regular air fryer recipes work...

Great microwave; horrible wall template.
I have only recently installed this unit, and so far it works great. However, there was one MAJOR problem with the installation. The wall template DID NOT MATCH the hole pattern on the mounting plate. There are two holes in the mounting plate, "A" and "B", in which you are supposed to place the anchors and then add a third anchor somewhere in "area C". However, the template did not have the A and B holes in the right spots. If the template had been way off, then I could have just re-drilled where they were supposed to be. However, they were off just enough to make it impossible to either use or re-drill using the A and B holes. I was forced to, instead, use the next closest holes in the C area (plus a couple extra just to be safe). So, DO NOT TRUST THE TEMPLATE. Double check using the mounting plate before you drill any holes.

No Cooking Chart
The GE Cafe Microwave is a beautiful looking appliance but the problem is the instruction manual does not come with a cooking chart. So if I wanted to roast chicken, it doesn't say what temperature and it don't say how long to either air fry or to roast . The fast cook also don't say how long to cook. It has cooking time for frozen food in a package and I don't eat store frozen foods. I purchased this so I don't have to use a big machine on my counter and now I have no idea how to cook in this microwave/ convection/air fry
I would really love to give this 5 stars but I have no idea how long to cook something

It is the most complicated microwave I have ever owned....and unnecessarily so! The Air fryer feature is a mess. Incomplete and erroneous instructions for Air Fry feature. Waited 1.5 hr to get someone to help and she couldn't figure it out either. She got ahold of someone else who informed both of us that the model I have does not have some features that I assumed came with, e.g. no Manual mode for air fry , only Auto. Really ? Why then is that an option on my dial? It is just a mess...and we are not dummies. Also, I cannot find any tutorials that will help explain this combo microwave. The instructions manual on website is very vague and inaccurate. Frustrating and was pricey!

Kitchen Appliances Update
We purchased the dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and induction range because we wanted black and Cafe was the closest to the "old school" black that we could find. The black stainless looks good and we opted to purchase the brushed copper handles which really makes everything "pop". We are still waiting for the induction range.
The microwave looks great and functions well. My only real complaint is that you can't enter cook time manually - the knob sets the time in 15 second increments. It is difficult to break a 40 year habit of entering cook time with a keypad. I haven't used the convection part yet. Other than that, the microwave is doing its job!

Wonderful appliance
Great microwave with the settings I need. We have baked a pie using the convection mode. Worked as well, if not better, than our range convection over. The air fryer function produces rather better results than my expensive standalone unit. A great easy to use addition to any kitchen. The exhaust operates flawlessly with three removable filters. Two are the standard over the stove type but there is a third charcoal filter that captures most of the grease and odors from my stove. The stove top illumination is brighter than any other unit I have used and includes an adjustable night light setting. Wonderful!!

Meh microvave microwaves
I’m being as honest as I can be; this machine’s only good features are the light and the microwave function. I’m not going to say that anything else works—the air fryer part doesn’t actually air fry, and the oven part doesn’t function as an oven. I’ve just installed this unit and have had it for about four days, and it’s been working perfectly; nothing is wrong with it. None of the food gets warmed up when you use the air fryer. It doesn’t air fry at all. The oven doesn’t even work like an oven. It just heats up the inside of the microwave and leaves my food cold. If you already have this and can’t get a refund, at least it works as a microwave.
