If you are looking for an Electric Combination Microwave Double Wall Oven with Adventium Technology…don’t buy this model!
The basic function of a timer signal is not part of the function of this model.
The automatic sound notification (beeper) cannot be heard.
This sound problem applies to when oven preheat is complete and also to when cooking has finished.
You must be standing next to this model, to hear 1 beep only.
GE technician said the beep sound is “…as designed and cannot be changed.”

With all the functions that this appliance offers…why would a quality beeper/timer not be included?

We upgrade all our appliances in our new house and decided not to have our microwave above our cooktop. We decided on the Cafe microwave/oven wall oven combo and couldn't be happier with the decision. The microwave is the largest we have ever had and the functions are for the most part are intuitive and what isn't the manual (yes an actual honest to goodness user manual) explains it all. The oven heats fast and its temps are accurate and so much room for the largest pan in the kitchen with room to spare. The whole unit looks like artwork for the kitchen and this homes domestic goddess could not be happier

Awesome insert! Best oven combo we’ve ever owned!
This was a nice upgrade for us from our last home, which was a range/oven combo with a separate microwave. So being able to reduce the amount of space was awesome for us!
One of my favorite features is the turn dial to add time, seems minimal, but it makes a lot of sense if you want to add time other than 30 seconds, which is standard to most microwaves.
Another feature was the convection oven. Having the dual microwave/convection oven allowed us to get rid our air fryer, which took up cabin/counter space.
Overall we’ve been very pleased with this product.

Purchased a GE Café wall over microwave combo model ctc912p2ns1.
Delivered on 9/17/2021.
On 9/20/2021 an installer came and the unit was dead.
Contacted GE Café asking for a new operable unit, since we paid for a new unit.
They sent a service person who stated that the unit should not be fixed.
But GE refuses to replace the unit.
Choosing this was a huge mistake,

Keeps burning out from
Investment gone wrong!
I thought this was the best option to include the microwave and oven together, it ended up being one of my worst investments. I have barely used it since I got it. It started off not working when it was originally installed and I’ve had technicians out several times to repair the unit because it keeps breaking while using. My digital screen completely goes black in the middle of use and I don’t know whether my oven is still on or not. I got it fixed last week and it just stopped working again.

Hi, we recently purchased the whole set of Café appliances ( gas range, fridge, and dishwasher) for our kitchen in white Matte. We have to buy a Microwave combination wall oven as well but we feel the existing model's looks and functions are not up to completions standard. I was wondering if you are planning to release a new model anytime soon.

Unrepairable
Bought microwave advantium/oven combo Feb 2022. Has had problems since 2nd week of owning. Repairman can't fix. Keeps changing same parts over and over the Megatron and transformers. He told me the problem is getting worse and is unrepairable
It is now September 2022 and unable to use. Very concerned about what happens after a year! Will never buy again.

GE Cafe Advantium -Microwave oven stopping working
I have the GE Cafe Advantium oven / microwave model CTC912P2N1S1. Yesterday, the microwave oven made a scary loud buzzing noise and now it doesn't heat food at all. This unit came with our new construction house that we bought in 04/2022, so it's less than 3 years old. I am surprised at this early failure for a high end and expensive oven like this, and it only had a 1 year warranty?!? My GE dishwasher failed multiple times also, just after the warranty of course. It's a sign of poor quality, very disappointed with GE products.
