Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Not worth it. Save your money
Horrible for the high price tag. We purchased several all new café appliances for our new home and this refrigerator has by far been the worst. It is loud and the icemaker spills everywhere. After owning it a year and a half it stopped cooling. After several phone calls to GE they finally sent a maintenance man and they replaced two parts (fan and condenser unit). Not a month later and it’s making this horrible grinding sound and not cooling again. For the price I paid for this it should be better quality. Now I will have to wait on hold for hours to talk to a GE to try to get it fixed yet again.

Great Size and beautiful, but beware of icemaker
I purchased in March 2020, but it was August before it was delivered because of Covid! It's beautiful and has enough room, but the icemaker is a mess. It falls freely and constantly out of the icemaker onto the floor and all through the freezer compartment. And the icemaker itself is so loud, it is unbelievable. I can hear it when I come down the steps in the morning, 3 rooms away. It's just a constant vrooom, pretty high pitched sound. Like there is never just quiet in the kitchen, it's constantly making noise. I don't know if the ice cubes falling everywhere is worse or the the constant noise.
It's very beautiful overall and fits lots of food. Also, the price was great.

Don't waste your money !
I would give this refrigerator a zero if I could. I inherited this piece of crap when I bought my last house. The depth is horrible, and I can't get a real casserole dish to fit except longwise. I have always had a can holder that was able to hold 12 cans but it won't hold the wonderful space saver because of the ridiculous lack of depth. The door doesn't seem to have th e feature to close completely so I have lost several products such as cream way before the expiration date. I am trying to find a sucker to get this off of my hands so i can buy a real refrigerator. I have moved numerous times and had goumet kitchens but this crap needs to be dumped on the street.

Ice maker issue
purchased this Cafe fridge with our new build. Stopped making ice after 2 months of use, called home builder to have the appliance company for repair and replaced ice maker, GE came and replaced ice maker, left, said to wait 24 to 48 hours. Still didn't work
-replaced 2nd ice maker, its making very little to no ice, told to check water line, and its has pressure and water feeding to fridge. Still not working.
-GE came again for 3rd time, replaced the ice maker, it will make ice sometimes, but it makes a growling noise periodically.
-still working with builder and GE to find a replacement unit.
-will not buy again
CSB48WP2RS1 no longer in production

Has some issues
I have a couple of issues with this "high end" refrigerator. First off, the ice maker inside the freezer is poorly designed. The ice overflows into the rest of the freezer and I'm forever having to go shelf by shelf and pick up ice cubes. The reservoir should be made in such a way as to contain the ice so it can be scooped without cubes flying all over the inside of the freezer.
Second, another poor design, is the refrigerator door. When open, you have to open the door as far as possible in order for the bottom drawer to be operational. As such, it has left a black mark on the baseboard right outside the fridge. Very annoying and inconvenient when trying to get something quickly.

Awful awful awful!!!
This is the worst piece of junk I have ever had the misfortune to buy. It’s not if, but when the condenser fan will malfunction. We have had to replace the fan 4 times in 2 years, and it still continues to freeze over which prevents the circulation needed to keep the freezer and fridge at their required temperatures. Countless amounts of food have been lost in the process. GE have not offered any real assistance in dealing with the problem because the issues started to happen after the first year and is now outside the warranty window. The repair bills are now running into the thousands of dollars. I encourage you avoid this piece of junk and buy anything else if you want to have a fridge freezer which is going to last you longer than a year. GE, you need to pull this product from your lineup now and fix the problems immediately so other families don’t have to go through the stress and issues this substandard product will continue to create. I give this a minus 10 stars.

What a disappointment
I purchased this refrigerator in 2022 and paid full price for it. It has already needed two repairs, and right now it is sitting broken again. Good thing I purchased a service plan for this poorly designed refrigerator, because it seems to need a major repair every year.
The ice box constantly drops ice all over the freezer, making a huge mess because it was poorly designed. What a terrible design. I am shocked they are still selling this to people.
My old foreign-made refrigerator is still in my garage, humming along after 12 years without a single repair, so I know refrigerators can be made better.
Do not buy this refrigerator!! Stay away from GE appliances I know I will.

Deeply disappointed from
Dreadful loud, steady mechanical hum
We had a 48" side by side Cafe refrigerator installed last week. It is handsome looking and seems to cool well, but everyone in the house HATES the high pitched loud mechanical sound that emanates from the condenser area. The only time it stops is when we open the refrigerator door. Upon closing, it immediately resumes. The sound drives us out of the kitchen, which is/had been the center of family life. It feels like we are living under high voltage wires with the constant hum of surging electricity. This cannot be good for people's brains or mental health.
I read reviews before purchasing this. They were mixed, mainly because of the inaccessibility of the ice bin and performance issues like LED light failures. I bought it anyway because it was the only 48" fridge available in our area due to the impact of covid on the supply chains. Had I known about the sound, I would have made do with a smaller fridge until other brands were available. I am so SO sorry I bought this Cafe.
Interestingly, the manual addresses the loud sound directly saying "Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators.[...]you may hear a high pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating." Nuts to that. This is flat out engineering failure. No one should have to live with this sound.
