Makes Excellent Coffee, But Be Patient
We love our espresso machine. It's easy to use and clean, and we get excellent coffee without driving to a coffee shop. We've used it daily for the past month and are learning to be flexible to truly brew great-tasting coffee--what works one day may not work the next. Our son is a barista and gave us tips such as being aware of how weather (humidity, barometeric pressure) can affect the necessary grind coarseness for the best brew time. Some days we have to grind more than once, which does end up wasting some coffee grounds, but we realize it's a function of various factors, not a problem with the machine. He thought we made a good choice, and we're enjoying our at-home drinks!

Half of it doesn’t work
Worked the first few times, then coffee beans kept getting lodged in the grinder and not working. After vacuuming it out and trying again it would fill up the portafilter about half way and stop. I did some research to see if it was a common problem that I could fix and found that the grinder in the machines teeth are to close together and won’t let the coffee beans go through without getting stuck. Even on the coarsest setting. No way to fix it, just a defect off of the assembly line. Gave two stars since half of the espresso machine is completely useless and had to buy a separate grinder. So if you just like hot water, great product 👍

Multiple Issues and breakdowns
When the machine worked it did alright. But with three people in my household using the machine it broke down very fast. There were multiple issues with the water pressure that took a few days to fix. Then after about the first week the grinder would miss the cup every time, resulting in grounds on the tray and not the portafilter. Finally the grinder stopped working entirely, and I've yet to find anything in the entire manual about how to resolve this issue. Completely cleaning and dusting the grinder doesn't even help. For the amount it is I would expect it to work for more than one month.

Doesn't last, not worth investment
I loved this so much when it worked but all of a sudden it just stopped. Of course it is out of warranty and they don't sell parts to fix. I thought maybe we just got the wrong person because who would do that but no i see reviews on other sites that say the same thing: Terrible! Machine was only 2 years old, and it kept saying overpressure even when no portafilter attachee. I was informed by service that “they dont service the machines and they dont make parts for the broken sensor” and that its just broken! After 2years
So don't expect this to last more than 2 years and don't expect to get help when it breaks

The coolest coffee machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this coffeemaker complimentary in exchange for my honest review. This is such a cool machine, it has a compartment that you put coffee beans in and it grinds it for you. You can choose either a single or double shot. It comes with a masher as well that makes the ground coffee nice and packed. It's super easy to use, I was a little intimidated at first when I got it but now I'm a expert at it. It even has a frother too which allows you to froth milk and make the perfect cappuccino. I feel like I am getting coffee from a coffee shop each time I use it and love it! I would highly recommend.

First espresso machine & I’m disappointed
I received my espresso machine a week ago & I used it everyday with no issues. Then I tried to make me an espresso a week from when I received it and it started to malfunction!! All the lights blink and the light for the water is lit and I looked at the manual which says the reason why it would light up which could b for 3 diff reasons. It isn’t in my case. It’s all connected and has plenty of water. I did not change anything after I used it the first time. So I’m not understanding what the issue is! This isn’t a cheap machine and shouldn’t be having issues after a week of use! I am very frustrated and disappointed! What should I do?!?!!

Beautiful Machine, Lukewarm Espresso
The espresso machine is absolutely beautiful. I love the design. I do wish the set up and manual was more instructive. For example: I have no idea how long it takes the time water to heat up. My old espresso machine made a noise to confirm it was heated properly for use. With the Cafe machine, no matter how long I wait, it consistently produces room temperature espresso. I tried reaching out to customer service and they told me to rinse the cup with hot water or place it on top of the machine to preheat. Even after doing this, the espresso is lukewarm at best. You shouldn’t have to heat up the cup with hot water just to get warm espresso. Some of the instructions online say you can adjust the temperature in the app, but the customer service rep told me via email that it is not possible to adjust the temperature. Several reviews online have cited this issue.
