Broan Elite Series 30 Inch Wall Mount Convertible Hood

I installed this downdraft hood myself, so got to see the construction details. Seems a good quality build. We like the variable speed blower controls. The description of the model we purchased clearly states "In-line blower sold separately".

Great addition to our kitchen.Actually more appealing than I expected. Powerful blower with added lightning makes this range hood A WINNER.

It's sleek and quiet. I use the energy saver light on this hood range all evening long to keep a dim light on in the kitchen, which is very practical and an energy saver.

This is very nice, very efficient hood. It absorbs al the steam and smell, which is important for an open kitchen. At the maximum speed it gets a little noisy, but the other 3 are pretty quiet. The only thing is the transformer stays on all the time and you can hear it in complete silence.

The venthood is so much quieter than my last one and is really heavy duty. I am quite happy with my purchase and it matches my new range perfectly.

I waited to make a review so I could use the fan and light for awhile and make sure it works. I'm so happy with the purchase it looks so nice compared to the one I had. Fan works great and not to loud. The price was so great and I love looking at the nice new one instead of old dingy one I had.

I liked the stainless steel finish which should be easy to clean, but I was disappointed that the range hood was not better designed to draw all the air through an external pipe. I had this range hood installed over a stove, and venting to a vertical stove pipe.

I purchased this stainless steel range hood because we bought a new stainless steel range. Our old range hood was a Broan so I wanted the new one to have the same mounting, duct connnections, and electrical wiring location. It was easy to install myself and looks great.
