Broan Under Cabinet Convertible Hood

Noise levels very acceptable. Lights are great! Prevented a larger project to improve lighting around cooking area. Flexible functionality. While it doesn't draft nearly as well as we expected at lower speeds, we suck it up and blast on full speed or a minute or two when needed.

We recently bought our first house and the kitchen was super outdated so we painted the cabinets and bought all new appliances. This was the last thing we needed, but I had a hard time finding a 36" range hood in stainless steel that I liked!

Strong suction, far more powerful than all the older units & you get more power with less noise than the cheaper vents, this actually sucks out the smoke & fumes from house.

The four lights really shine! The halogen bulbs get really hot, so I plan on replacing them with some LED bulbs. I like that the clock display can be turned off since every appliance in my kitchen already has a clock.

When this thing is on full speed you cant even tell if anyone is cooking. Great lighting. Quiet fan on lower settings. Looks great. Moves a TON of air on higher settings. Easily cleaned grease filters. Not much more expensive than an "average" extractor.

Extremely pleased with this product. It was easy to install and is working perfectly. Would not hesitate to order again and recommend it highly.

So much better then my old one.

I replaced my 15 yr. old Broan fan with this one last week. I can't believe the poor quality of this fan. I had someone already coming to install it or I would have returned it. The sheet metal is so thin and flimsy we were worried about denting it during the install.

Do not buy this hood unless you like devices that are difficult or impossible to turn off the lights or noise for. You can turn off the "auto-light" feature if you choose to deal with a 1950 style computer human interface experience (save you manual).

This is bare none a cheap piece of C--P. They expect this fan will hang from 4 small screws on thin aluminum that bends easily. That's not the worst part. The screws are mostly not reachable to tighten. The right back is blocked by a badly placed transformer.
