The Bose QuietControl 30 is well-built, very comfortable to wear, offers variable noise-canceling and excellent sound quality for a Bluetooth headphone. It's also sweat-resistant and can be used as a sports headphone. Works well as a headset.

Pricey. Noise-canceling isn't as effective as QuietComfort 20 or QuietComfort 35. No wired option to plug into airline entertainment systems.
The Bose QuietControl 30 earphones combine Bluetooth connectivity and effective ambient mics with industry-leading noise cancellation technology.

Unbeatable noise cancellation. Wireless connectivity. Solid audio performance with rich bass and crisp highs. Ambient mics allow you to monitor your surroundings.

Neckband design is not for everyone. Expensive.
Aside from their inability to be used without battery power, there’s precious little to dislike about Bose’s QuietControl 30 headphones. Lightweight, comfortable, beautifully designed, and offering excellent sound, they deserve the consideration of anyone interested in a new set of ANC headphones.
These earphones would be perfect if there was to use them while their battery was dead.
Overall I think Bose was just slightly off the mark with the QuietControl 30’s. There are just enough cons to make you really question whether these are worth $299. On one hand, I do like the design and the StayHear+ tips have always fit my ear perfectly, but on the other hand I’ve had issues with...

Excellent noise cancellation, Great battery life

Expensive, Neckband may be a good fit for all
With Bose you expect audio quality and noise-cancelling to be great - and the QuietControl 30 definitely deliver on that reputation. The only thing holding them back from in-ear perfection is the high price point and the neckband design and controls placement not feeling as balanced as, say, the...

Brilliant noise-cancelling, great sound quality, useful app

Design could be improved to make the neckband more balanced
The QuietControl 30 are a decent alternative to more traditional active noise-cancelling headphones

Adjustable ANC for more situational awareness, Earbuds are very comfortable, Very portable

ANC performance not quite as good as alternatives, Collar design can be uncomfortable
If you want a pair of wireless in-ear headphones with great battery life and excellent noise cancellation, the Bose QC30s might be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s just unfortunate that they’re not the best-sounding headphones around.
My experience with the QC30 has been really great. Noise cancelation is very good when the earpieces are properly fitted in my ear - better than my QC20i. The sound with music is definitely better than my QC20i's. Excellent separation, clarity and base.

Neckband can rotate, BT connection is a bit weak sometimes,
"I was really excited to try out these headphones for the noise cancelling aspect and I am so happy Bose didn't let me down! You are actually able to control the level of noise cancellation which is awesome.
You can already tell if this iem is for you by looking at the pros and cons. I personally use it a lot due to the sake of convenience (rechargeable battery, noise cancelling, wireless) and it gets the job done. I might give this a five stars had it been priced $150, but every Bose overcharges.

Battery life, noise cancellation, convenient

Price, audio quality is only ok
Great sound quality when they work... After using anywhere from a few times to a week or so at the gym - the unit would stop working entirely - either not charge or unable to turn on..
I have been using these for a few months now and have had nothing but an exceptional experience. The battery last long, the connection is great even from a decent distance away from the connected device, the fit is comfortable, and the sound quality is what I expect from Bose.
I use them all day at work everyday for wireless phone connectivity and music. They are great quality and very comfortable as I would expect from BOSE. My only complaint is they are not very load as I would expect for this amount of mmoney. Great sound quality but not powerful enough for me.
I'm very happy with my purchase. You can't go wrong with Bose!

When you pay the price for these, you should expect exceptionally well made electronics. these are not that.

noise cancellation is incredibly good for the headphones, not the mic
-
-
useless microphone / call quality, should have more battery life considering their size
I thought i'd try Bose, never had them before. Like most headphones these days, not enough volume!! Similar to Beats, too much bass, unnatural, real head bangers, my head was throbbing. Yes, I turned down the phone aps amp's bass but my headache didn't cease.
