Bosch NIT5469UC 500 Series 24 Inch Induction Smoothtop Cooktop

After using a counter top single element for over a year, we liked it so well we decided to replace our standard electric cooktop with the Bosch induction cooktop. Having used the Bosch for about a month now, we could not be happier. The temperture control is precise and easy to use.

We love cooking on our new Bosch 500 series Induction Cook top. We have a two burner gas range beside it, but hardly use it as we prefer induction which is as fast or faster cooking than gas.

I love this cook top. Great temperature control..easy to clean...no boil overs! Great for boiling fast and stir fry!

Installed without issue. Gas performance (actually better) but with electric induction power and soo much cleaner. Great cooking experience. Boils water is seconds. Had to buy new pot/pans for induction system but that just made it all the better.

Great cooktop. Induction gives you instantaneous power control from lukewarm to three mile island. The power boost function will boil water faster than you can imagine. If you are thinking about induction this is the cooktop and the price is great.

Have used the cooktop for about three months. It has surpassed my expectations. I first saw induction cooking about 42 years ago in a high-end kitchen design store. Yes, 42 years ago. At the time, the units were installed randomly under glass that looked like tile.

Review for the Bosch 500 Series, 30", Model NIT506UC We really like this cook top. We installed this in January 2013 after dithering for several years...."do we really want to give up our gas cook top?

I have the product and researched its attributes and liked the PotSense(tm) - Automatically Adjusts Cooking Element to the Size of the Pan Bottom" listed at their Bosch web site. This is a key feature if you understand how induction stoves work.

I have a brochure from Bosch and the pictured hob is the 300 series by Bosch. The 500 series has 5 burners. The price is appropriate for the 300 series.
