Bosch 500 Series 36 Inch Gas Sealed Burner Cooktop

I chose this model because of its low profile under the countertop. It is a replacement. Looks nice, glad it has metal knobs because they get hot. You have to use a hot pad to touch them if cooking in front on a high heat or a long cook time. It does scratch easy. But perhaps they all do.

So far, GREAT! Burners are consistent. Don't go out on simmer. Looks great. I read all the problems people were having with browning on the stainless so I cleaned it with Barkeepers Friend before I used it and as I thought, no browning.

I had to buy this to replace a kitchenaid glass cooktop that exploded on me. I suffered with the thing for 20 years or so, trying to keep it clean ( glass and grease don't mix) and the enameled grates looked like hell. The Bosch is a world of difference.

Easy to clean, sturdy, and well made. Temperature is easy to adjust properly for perfect meal prep. Great design and I love the features. Shallow enough to fit drawers below for utensils and cabinets for cookware.

Excelenet product however after few weeks of utilization, it is presenting a problem in the automatic fire turn on system, which is been trigged not only once, as it should do, but sevreal times beyond need.

Elegant and modern design. Easy to clean.

It’s a nice stove. But the finish on the grates has already began coming off. And the labels on the actual stove are also disappearing. We don’t use any harsh cleaning chemicals.

I bought this for my parents remodeled kitchen, they love it, no issues, looks great!
