Bosch gas cooktop
I love my new cooktop! The control of the burners is wonderful and has made cooking so much better. The flexibility of having 5 burners is great. I only wish the simmer burner was a back burner instead of a front burner. I assume this was to let you easily check sauces, etc. The controls in the middle is far better than controls on the side. We replaced a very old Magic Chef cooktop and it's been great and cooking is far more enjoyable. Since it's a Bosch, I know it will last many years. Our Bosch dishwasher is almost 17 years old and going strong with no problems. Because of the dishwasher's longevity, we only looked at Bosch cooktops for our new one.

Would NOT buy again
I would not have purchased this Bosch cooktop if I had had a chance to actually try it first. It is very difficult to consistently get the burners to light on the first try. The electronic spark will click and it seems lit and then it goes out. There is evidently a "sweet spot" where the burner stays lit but I have not mastered it after 2 months. I also HATE the way water spots on the stainless steel cooktop. I cannot get it to look clean without streaks.

So far so good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that my family and I had the time to use this cooktop for a month, now i can say "so far so good!" We noticed the burner cover is easily misalinged when bump accicendtally or cleaned. And the gas valve is not seated all the way at the back that causes my drawer not to close all the way. I have to shave 2" at the back of my drawer to close properly. As I said, "So far so good!".

Best Cooktop - Best Food - Best Bosch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years working with a four burner cooktop our new Bosch 500 cooktop has performed above expectations. The various size locations and heat intesities create better surface allocation under my pots and pans. I'm able to cook better tasting food with better consistancy. If I had this cooktop years ago I would have gone PRO. Make Your Day Great!!! Happy Bosching.

Incredible Stove Top
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing stove top! I am slowly replacing all my appliances to Bosch. Excellent products! Love my new stove top because it put out the heat in seconds. Once had to wait quite longer for a stockpot full of water to boil. Not any longer.....within a few minutes it's boiling!
Can't wait to replace my double ovens!

Bosch 500 Series Gas Cooktop review

Shopped around and paid a little bit more for a Bosch but hopefully will be worth it. I like the metal knobs, solid feel and the big central burner and the grills look good and sturdy.

Great Looking Cooktop!
