Touchpad is terrible!
We bought this to replace a previous Bosch 5000 series Convection/Conventional oven HBL5055A after a power surge damaged the display board and replacement parts were no longer available. First, this oven was larger and didn’t fit my cabinetry requiring modifications. We were able to deal with this, BUT we Detest the touchpad! Either they should have kept the additional knob control to dial in the temperature or also the ability to separate the hours from minutes, or give a number keypad like on the Bosch Convection Microwave HMC87152UC. We constantly have to hold the + or - button which ALWAYS overshoots our desired temperature AND timer time. Terrible design!

Great oven but poor controls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooking performance is great on this oven. It has all the features you'd need. It's easy to use, easy to clean and looks great. Where things get off track is the controls. The touch screen part is necessary to set oven temperatures but is impossible to control without frustration. The screen isn't responsive enough when you need to press and hold. Invariably you will end up past the temperature you want and then being very deliberate to not overshoot again as you back track the other way. A single touch works fine. In this day of touch screen appliances this is just completely unacceptable. Skip this one, spend a bit more and get the one with the numeric keypad that doesn’t require any press and hold silliness.

Double Wall Ovens
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice to look at, but the controls are not easy to adjust. HOnestly, we had the control panel replaced because we thought it was defective, but the serviceman said that is how they all are. Touch pad is very sensitive and either doesn't recognize a finger touch or sends the time or temperature number up or down way to fast, not being able to stop on the desired number. Very annoying and frustrating. I would not recommend this oven for this very reason.

We moved into our new home on November 1st and it was absolutely wonderful having my Bosch Double Wall Oven for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. In past years without such a unit it was much more work to try keeping food warm and having it all ready at the same to (which never happened). but now with this Bosch Double Wall Oven it's a breeze to have all our food ready at the same time to enjoy a warm meal with my family.

LOVE Our 500 Bosch Series
We love the look of our double oven...very sharp. Excellent construction, design, and materials. We have had the oven for just a month...works perfectly so far...no problems. It's very easy to use. When setting the temperature or the timer, there is no extra start button to remember to push... IT STARTS AUTOMATICALLY.... which is really nice!
The timer bell seems to be on the quiet side. Overall, we are happy with our purchase!

I am disappointed with this product. The temperature is so inaccurate that I have to use supplemental thermometers. Additionally it takes 20-30 min to pre-heat. I have other products I love their dishwasher is awesome. Also have a cooktop we enjoy but this oven is the pits.

Annoying timer and heat control
The temperature setting and timer setting control panel goes from slow movement to rapid fast forward causing you to constantly overshoot and having to go back. There needs to either be a number panel or no ridiculous acceleration in choosing settings.

oven! Love the proof setting and pizza settings! I have made restaurant quality pizza using thos oven! The choice between the convection bake and roast setting makes a big difference and how mests turn out! Made a delicious Prime Rib on New Years using the convection roadt setting and it came out perfect! The popovers were beautiful using the convection bake setting
Worth the 3 month wait!
