I use this on my old 400mm f/5.6 lens + m4/3 adapter for my EM1. .. yes, --- this ball head handles it nicely but;it can't handle a Tamron 150-600mmG1 lens, specially when you walk around --- it just drops! --- yet, the lens is only 4.3lbs
we use these on all of our GoPros when we shoot time lapse outdoors. so far they have held up well, through wind, and rain, and dark of night... seriously we have left them outside for 3 to 4 weeks at a time with no problems when we wrap, I give them a shot of WD40 to displace any water that may be...
I use this on my mini tripod. It holds my Canon 6d with a 70-300 lense easily. It is simple to adjust and the quick release works well and locks in solidly.
This is my first experience with a ball head and overall I really love it. The one issue I've encountered is that it is easy to over-tighten the swivel on the tripod. I did this the very first time I used it. You need to take care to not over-tighten.
This is my first time using Benro product and i must say that i am satisfied with its quality. First intention of use is for traveling. But after using it for quite some time, I regularly swap it with my 3-way-pan Manfrotto head beacause of its durability and compactness.
decent, lightweight and fairly robust, but fine contro is not possible and the screw for the quick release adapter that attaches to the camera has wire ears for hand tightening. those wire ears bent after moderate use
I intended to use this ballhead on a light stand or monopod to support a field audio recorder. It's a bit big for the job, but still a good ballhead. It's very basic: no damping and no lube, but it is compact and very well designed.
use it for photography and it holds my canon 60D with the battery pack attachment with no problems
Nice ballhead. Holds a Canon 50d with a Sigma 120-400mm lens in the vertical position with no problem. Light and compact
Great head for hiking and super light traveling. Pocket size and not bad stability for the price and size. I wouldn't recommend it for any serious photography unless you go to remote locations and don't have any other choice for more stable gear.
