The BenQ RL2460HT is a reasonably priced, 24-inch gaming monitor with a fast pixel response, low lag time, and solid image performance.

Fast pixel response. Reasonably priced. Solid performance. Adjustable stand.

Narrow viewing angles. No USB ports. Low-powered speakers.
Today we’re looking at the BenQ RL2460HT, a gaming monitor designed for console gamers that want something smaller and more portable than the average 40-inch HDTV. It boasts a Fighting mode designed by Street Fighter legend Justin Wong, and an HDMI output for streaming without input lag.
The BenQ RL2460HT is great gaming monitor which also doubles as a fantastic monitor for editing photos or videos, since it has good gamut and accurate colour reproduction. The HDMI output makes it a great choice for those who take gaming seriously and want to record their exploits.
We have all heard the now-stale adage that PC sales have been in a meteoric descent as of late but certain segments within this market continue to thrive. Gamers have long stood as a bulwark against global financial meltdowns and they have been fueling component sales in the search for the best...
*It's not so much a con but it took me about 2 hours to get the monitor color / brightness etc: settings in the "Fighter" mode correct and not to be eye destroying. But just compare settings with its standard and play around with only brightness / contrast / sharpness until it looks right.

Well built monitor for 1080p display with very good quality and a very good response time. It pretty much is what its marketed as. Good buy.

Having to tweak the settings* (see otheer)
I'd recommend this if you're not getting an AMD card. Always opt for a freesync monitor if that.

- Screen is absolutely beautiful. - 24" is just enough of a size because it lets you: 1. Adjust the monitor horizontally, vertically, and 2. Any more personally distracts me, but not everyone has enough desk space to accommodate more. - Buttons are nicely tactile.

-
- No FreeSync :(
I'm not really sure about all the different profiles and which one is best for what game. I'm not a computer whiz.

Friend recommended it to me and plus I get compliments on it so yea it replace a really old moniter.

Don't know how to register it and the website doesn't even have a regular link to register your products like other websites do.
I was worried about the viewing angle at first but it has become a non-issue since I'm sitting in the same place all the time. When I have the cash I'm going to pick up a second one to replace the monster sitting next to it.

This is a great monitor, the color does need some tweaking out of the box but I'm seeing details in my games that I've never noticed before. I'm also a huge fan of the blue light reduction/eye protection as my circadian rhythm is borked.

The viewing angle if not seated properly. Its a common problem for TN panels but since its in a fixed place and, well, so am I - so its really become a non-issue. Could be a problem if you want to use it as a monitor for multi-player fighting games with a few people in the same room.
I would highly recommend this machine. Set up in a jiffy. Very sharp

I review a lot of documents every day for work and was getting eye strain with my old monitor. Reviews of new ones were all over the place. It occured to me that professional gamers need a monitor which won't cause eye fatigue, so I decided to get a gaming monitor.

I wish they made 4:3 monitors instead of 16:9 widescreen. I need more rows on a screen, not columns. The same goes for laptops.
