I have two of these now. I use them for my live streaming and they do quite well. Just make sure that you use the XLR plugs for MIC level, and the 1/4 for LINE. Aside from that, they are pretty straightforward and the compressor/limiter does alright for what it is. -rooftop235
Yeah, FOR THE PRICE it's good, sure. But you're much better off spending your money elsewhere. This doesn't even have a power button so it's always on. If you want to turn it off you have to unplugnit directly from the wall or the unit. No bueno.
I really enjoy the ease of use of this mixer. It is its own sound card, so you don't have to worry about that. The same circuitry as in their larger boards, so the quality is fantastic. I have it paired with a Sennheiser 421 mic and it does a great job. It also works well with Adobe Audition 3.0.
Works like a charm, and great for a small band or group of mics and instruments! The mic ports provide voltage for powered mics, and my Neumann mic sounds great through it!
This was a perfect mixer to get my home studio organized. I have (believe it or not) three computers hooked up to this mixer. I needed a way to organize connecting all my home studio device with the ease of using an analog mixer. I use MOTU's Ultralite for my sound card driving Logic on my Mac.
I bought this to use as an interface to connect my laptop and my AT2035 mic and it worked magic. I really love how I was able to get zero latency during playback recording.
I bought this mixer because it seemed like the cheapest way to get a USB audio adapter for my computer that had gain control on input and output, phantom power for a condensor mic, and a level meter. This mixer, minimally, provides all this but was ultimately not satisfactory.
I use it in stand alone mode and connected to my mac as well. It's the perfect friend to play my bass guitar listening to my preferred tunes. With its dynamic compressor and 3 band equaliser it's very useful an d complete!
I set the Q802USB up for streaming and music. The driver install went down ok. I used the Behringer for recording and after gain staging I had the infamous hiss as many have experienced. Swapped to a new Mic and still the hiss. I suspect the pre-amps are just not up to standard.
Great like always
