I have a scratchy voice and needed to scrub my audio and record over my videos to level out my voice. So far this has worked wonderfully with aAudio-Technica ATR2100 ( I have a lot of background noise in the house), it's also much better than a Lavalier micraphone that I have been using while doing...
I bought the Behringer Xenix X1204 USB mixer as the center of my podcasting operation. I specifically wanted this unit so that I could do live telephone conversations with my cell phone piped through the unit. It's excellent for this application!
We bought this for the main studio for our school web radio station. Our old mixer needed to be replaced and this was the ideal solution. Having both traditional analog output and usb output made this mixer perfect for our two-computer setup.
This is the only 4 buss mixer with effects you will find for your money. I bought two of them to use as an 8 buss mixer to my stand alone 24 track 8 input audio recorder. A great clean sounding mixer I use for keyboards, acoustic guitar and routing external effects.
This is a good mixer and I like the sound it puts out. The only issue for me is that the VU meters barely respond even with the gain up to 75% and almost shouting into the mic. I have a Floureon XLR using the phantom power.
This mixer works on a professional lever just like your high end mixers. The price was great !!!!
To be honest, I have to give Behringer good marks overall. But the truth of the matter is, over time, all of these mixers, Behringer, and Mackie, fail. They all fail. Since they're so relatively cheap, just make sure you have a backup or two in a travel case out in the truck.
For small price of this mixer, you receive a lot of value. You can do professional mixing without paying professional prices. For example, on this mixer, you can adjust pre fader levels in advance, assuring that your sound is at the optimal signal before you ever start messing with volume and other...
This audio mixer works great with my powered monitor speakers in my small studio or in a live performance. I use to haul around a large system for just me singing and playing my guitar. I also use audio that I have pre-recorded and now my system is a lot lighter with more options and flexibility.
No other mixer at this price point offers as many features, especially the two AUX busses.
