To be continued... [ read more on Audiofanzine ] I do recommend getting this if you cannot afford a better set up, but that main purpose for me to get it was just for fun and to do some small stuff at home. But for some reason it just would not hold up for me.
The Behringer 802 Xenyx mixer and the Vestax VDA 1000 power amp were ordered by me Wed nite to ship UPS 1 day, so they'd arrive Fri, and be on the plane with me Sat to New Orleans, and Sun on a 7 day cruise, to play my gig.
A nice little mixer for small projects and at a price you can easily pick it up to use as a backup or for DJ gigs. [ read more on Audiofanzine ]
As with all of my purchases, this Behringer Xenyx 802 Mixer is as good as advertised and came with the support and expertise of Sweetwater's fantastic staff. Coming to this focus later in life, Jonathan Appleton was fantastic with his suggestions.
Great mixer. It helps to boost the sound quality and also provides additional input/output to hook extra mic or equipment. Thanks to zzounds for making my purchase affordable and possible.
I got this mixer because my multitrack recorder has no EQ function (that's what you get for cheap), so I'm using it as like a preamp/pre-eq thing, and I'm pretty happy with it. It'd be nice if the thing had faders instead of knobs, but that just a preference thing, really.
I bought this thinking I'd need it for my current band situation. I didn't at first, but do now. I use my own 802 in my 'silent' practice rig at home and an identical unit on the gigs I play here in casinos.
Small, Cheap, Sounds GREAT for bass!
Questionable life span of Behringer products- but it is cheap!
I have used it 4 times. It seems to work well providing high quality sound for voice and strings. Now if I could learn to play!
As a band, we run a certain amount of backing tracks during a performance and monitor both the click and backing track sends with our in-ear monitors. More often than desired, the levels and EQ of the sends from the house mixing console eventually get set out of whack, however inadvertently by the...
The first unit I purchased was defective, so I spoke with my man Tyler and within three days I had a new unit and the defective unit was back in Indiana. I can't say enough good things about Tyler and the tech support staff. Outstanding work guys! Thank you so much
It does the job, no problems.
Compact, quality mixer at a price that cannot be beat. Mics sound terrific and EQ is excellent. If you don't require many inputs, you will be hard pressed to hear the difference between this and more expensive units.
I WAS VERY SURPRISED AT IS THE QUALITY AND USEFUL INPUTS FOR SUCH A LOW PRICE.MY BROTHER RECOMMENDED THAT THIS WOULD IMPROVE MY SOUND AND GIVE ME MORE OPTIONS .I PLAY ACOUSTIC STEEL AND NYLON GUITARS ,I WANTED SOMETHING EASY TO USE WITH MY EXISTING SET UP,WHICH IS A PANDORA BOX EFFECTS UNIT AND A...
