Rated 4 stars because there could always be room for improvements, but it is a very good entry level studio monitor. The casing was sticky/tacky for some reason, but a quick wipedown was all that was needed.
Those speakers were my first studio monitors and I was very pleasantly surpised. When I plugged them in I was bluffed by the clarity of music. I think the three selectors on the back of the speaker are very useful for professionals.
Very good speakers for the price. They sound great. I'm very impressed with Behringer products.
It was great until it just failed. Just after warranty. Now I have one for sale.
I use at home connected to my computer for practicing and for some audio editing. I loved these. Great value and they sound very good for a low price set up. My problem with Behringer is that just beyond the warranty period, I have had units fail.
I bought these speakers with an UX2 interface! They hooked up just fine and they are actually really nice speakers, and are good enough for any home studio for beginners and people recording their band. They are perfect for mixing and recording.
