we play in nursing homes with accompaniment tracks, using a 60 watt harbinger pa system and the equalizer really helps with getting the sound balanced with the room and enhances clarity.
I wanted to replace my old malfunctioning equalizer with a new one. I use it to sweeten the sound on my stereo system. This new one is perfect in that it's compact and easy to hook up. The controls on the front are straightforward in design and easy to use.
I use it an EQ for my laptop. I do notice a better sound quality.
I use sound bars with sub-woofers on both of our TVs but still have problems understanding a lot of dialog so thought I try a graphic equalizer. I'm sure glad I did! I installed it between the TV audio output and the Sound bar.
I bought 2 of these units: one for my studio monitors, and one for my pro quality headphones. The 9 bands (1 per octave) are just enough to shape a perfectly balanced sound on both.
I bought this unit for its size and portability. I wanted to have something I could take in my bag if I got stuck in an analog mixer situation with no outboard gear. I have not had the opportunity to try the unit yet but I am very much put off by the weight of the wall wart.
Having to deal with high frequency hearing loss. I coupled this device with my Bluetooth headphones. This allows me to understand every word over my Tv. Wonderful device.
Simple enough to add this to your amp or receiver. Provides decentsound quality. Small and takes up no space. My only complaint it's all plastic and very light therefore when you turn it on you need to hold it still.
Works as advertised. I would prefer more input/output options, but that's not a fault of the product, but more on what I knew I was getting anyway, despite my ideal. The build quality is cheap plastic. I wouldn't travel with this, unless you like something light weight, but it is bulky.
I read many reviews before I purchased it. Sure it works very good for my stereo system. I am very happy with it.
