Fans of booming low-end won't be disappointed by the Beats Solo 2 headphones' powerful bass and distortion-free audio performance.

Powerful, distortion-free audio with boosted bass and bright highs. Lightweight, comfortable fit. Inline remote control and microphone for mobile devices.

Big bass sound isn't for purists or anyone seeking flat response. Slightly overpriced.
There is no doubt about it: this is a solid, good sounding pair of headphones. But in a world where solid, good sounding headphones are a dime a dozen and this particular pair costs quite a bit more than a dime, they’ve got to do more and, in a way, they do.

Stylish look, Improved sound

No hard shell case
Will the Solo2 continue the reign of the original Solo? I think they will. These are solid headphones that even picky cynics will agree have grown-up. The available color choices are fun too and so is the new redesigned look.

Redesigned for the better. Sound has improved vastly over the original Solo. Ear cups are comfortable and provide a tight seal. Bass is now much more subtle than before. Good soundstage. Remastered tracks sound especially good.

The included soft carrying case provides a tight fit for the headphones. The headband may be too tight for some, but could also lessen overtime. Might be too plasticky for some. The In-line remote can be a little temperamental when moving from song to song.
OVERALL: I would say this is a fairly decent headphone but not for its price. Gets a C rating. If you don't care for isolation the Creative Aurvana Live offers better sound for 1/3 of the current price.DESIGN: I was fairly impressed with the design of the Solo2.

Inline controls dont work for android phones, Isolation is mediocre, Sound needs better clarity
Beats headphones have achieved a level of notoriety based on their style, but the sound they offer isn’t for everyone. Often touted as headphones for urban music—rap and hip-hop—the Beats sound doesn’t transfer well to all genres.
Beats headphones have gotten a lot of criticism over the past few years especially from the global hardcore audiophile community. Their main issue was that the buyer could get headphones with superior sound quality at a much lower price.
Beats is without a doubt one of the most popular and well-known headphones being sold today. Beats made its mark on the audio business in the last decade that left it reigning supreme on top of the list of best headphones.
Beats is without question the world's most marketed headphone and audio brand in recent years. The company took a step in the right direction when it released the Studio 2 over-ear headphones late last year with much needed improvements in audio performance with the addition of a built-in...
Solo2 ($200) is the first product to come from Beats Electronics since Apple confirmed that it would be acquiring the company, released the day after Apple's official announcement.
It’s been a few months now but Beats has slowly revised their two flagship headphones the Beats Studio series and the Solo series. Doing this was necessary to shave off any excessive fat they had associated with Monster and also just give their products new life.
I purchased for my wife - cause I love mine. I thought they were bluetooth - they are NOT! The description never said they were - it's all on me. My wife loves them and said they are the best headphones shes ever had. - Bonus!
My son wanted these as a gift. Got Studios first not realizing they required charging to work. Returned and got Solo2's. Much better for a younger person or for anyone not wanting to worry about charging another device.
I have had the headphones for less than one year and the buttons on the cord broke within the first three months and now at 8 months the cushions on the ear piece have started to come apart.
The sound quality is amazing. You can really hear the bass. Great product. The only thing I would say negative if wearing for long periods its hurts your ears due to tightness.

Great Sound, Compact, Attractive Design

UNCOMFORTABLE
They feel premium, look great and sound excellent. The battery holds charge longer than I expected and I can wear them comfortably for long periods, sometimes all day. I am extremely stoked that when the battery does die, you can keep using them with the included AUX cable and they are powered right...
When I bought these I thought something was wrong with them . Sound kept cutting off. Took them back and salesman plugged the cord in and the same thing. I didn't want to return them until I talked to Apple. We were plugging them in the wrong was I reversed the cord and they worked .
You think when you pay $200.00 for a pair of headphones, that they would work. Only one side will work. Having to try to figure out how to return is a massive pain.
Great sound and crutch had the style and colors we wanted

Rumor is iPhone 7 won't have a jack port . So enjoy this style while you can
Sound quality is as advertised. Abt's competitive price was hands down the best place to go. Can't go wrong if you want the clarity you're looking for with these headphones.
