The PowerBeats3 Wireless is a decent step up over its predecessor, but it's no bargain in an increasingly crowded market for wireless sports headphones.

The Beats Powerbeats3 Wireless offers an improved fit, very good sound for Bluetooth sports headphone, reliable operation, and strong battery life (12 hours), thanks to Apple's W1 chip. Pairing is dead-simple for iOS users and the headphones also work just fine with Android phones.

Competing models are just as good or better and cost less; not a major upgrade over Powerbeats2 Wireless.
After a pair of run-friendly headphones that look and sound good enough to become your daily audio enablers? Stop looking, you've found them. The Beats Powerbeats 3 might not change the world when it comes to sound quality, but as an overall package, they're a damn fine offering.

Comfortable, cool, secure design, Impressive Bluetooth connection, Brilliant battery life

No noise cancelling, Let in a bit of wind noise, Not the deepest sound
At $200, the Powerbeats3 are not exactly an impulse buy. In fact, Apple's own forthcoming AirPods (which also include the W1 chip, as well as a number of other advantages) are $40 cheaper.Still, the Powerbeats3 are priced at the same entry point as their predecessor when that pair launched.

Beats,, bluetooth,, headphones,, W1,, Powerbeats3
The Powerbeats3 don’t look all that different from . There are a few tweaks here and there, mostly aimed at getting them to fit better. The primary distinction is tucked away inside, a happy addition to the Bluetooth earbuds that arrives as a result of the headphone company’s acquisition by Apple.
The Powerbeats 3 are the best Beats yet
A great pair of sports buds, which really come into their own if you have an iPhone 7

Apple W1 chipset boosts range and battery life, Great performance, Comfortable fit

Micro-USB charging, You'll need an iPhone 7 to get the best from it
A great pair of sports buds, which really come into their own if you have an iPhone 7.
These headphones are too expensive to have faulty or poorly crafted charge ports. I've used the headphones for a month. They always fall off my ear (specifically the left ear) when I sweat. Adjusting the string does nothing.

Lightweight

Doesn't really repel sweat, the charge won't shut off and eventually won't turn on
Overall, I would say that these are entirely too expensive and over-hyped. You're paying for the name, without much in the way of performance that sets these apart from other, less expensive, bluetooth headphones. The sound is nice, very bass-heavy, good volume.
Very easy to sync to iPhone and great sound indoors. However, when using outside on walks, can get wind noise on breezy days. I changed to foam ear pads to provide better isolation, but can stll have the wind noise.

Convient, great sound, love the wireless ease of use.

Can pick up wind noise outside.
Not beats fault - I like the product. Bought these for longer battery life. Apple bought beats, then forced everyone with iPhone 7 to use Bluetooth headphones. Not a coincidence

For iPhone 7 work well for telephone purposes., Great sound for music

You need them for iPhone 7
I really love the earphones they worked great out of the box and paired easily with my Android phone. Sound is good and controls are intuitive. I did have trouble with one of the "secure fit wingtips" breaking which is annoying. Trying to figure out how to get a replacement but it isn't obvious.
I was in need of a decent set of Bluetooth headphones and decided to try these out. They are on the expensive side and don't have the longest battery life but they work well with iOS devices and use a Lightning cable for charging.

I actually bought a MacBook and got the beatsX for free, but I would definitely pay the money to get them. The packaging was incredible and the headphones them self are out of this world. Everyone that I talk to on the phone can hear me clearly and same way goes for them.
Hi All, BeatsX Headphones after my 12 days of extensive use are missing the following: a) Sound Notification for Call connect or disconnect b) Information on the amount of battery remaining (no light indicator, as its next to impossible to see the indicator while you have the Beatsx Headphones on...
Bought the Powerbeats for the gym and walking the dog. Great sound and just as important fit well in the ear and don't move about during movement
