I've owned one of these for four years now and have experienced nothing but great audio from these mics. The only time you'll experience poor audio quality is when the individual wearing the mic gets a little too far from the receiver on the camera (happens often in filming outdoor hunting tv...
Great little system, easy to use right out of the box, however, if you're a professional looking for prolonged, good audio, then this is not for you. The system drops out frequently (even in a controlled studio environment), causing frequency pops in your audio (ruins long projects like confrence...
Have seen mixed reviews with this product... Our experience has been positive! Good sound quality and no drop out! Have only used it a couple times so far, and it performed well! Instructions could be a little better!
I have had this unit for only a short time however, in that time I have used the system on my Canon HV30 and my Sony HDR-FX7 camcorders with great success. This system is exceptional, especially considering the price. I do recommend this system to anyone interested in quality.
Anybody who uses two radio mics with a video camera knows that the grief you get from having two gadgets to mount and all the batteries to buy is a major problem. This kit is great because it solves that problem and allows me to add the other components if I don't want to use tie-clip microphones.
Right out of the box i was apprehensive - cheap and plastic for over $750 - could never get good volume on the mics through the reciever and to the recording device - I tried everything - the transmitters do have a volume adjustment but it did little to help boost the volume - I tried so many...
Bought this after reading the above reviews, clearly the good ones are a plant by Azden, they have to be. I tested this system out and it sort of works in a straight line with no obstructions but even then the sound clips on and off.
We use this mic set to produce an HD television show and we love it. Good mics are hard to come by and these seem to work great for us.
Bought this as an upgrade from our entry level Azdem WLX dual channel system, which is very much a consumer system. Audio quality of the 330 is much better, as is build quality. But unfortunately, constant audio dropouts made is almost unuseable.
I use it for single and dual mic in wedding and training video applications. The only downside is that the receiver is pretty big, and so I cannot use my on-camera light and my 330LT at the same time, while I can with my 310XT.
