Easy Controls, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound
I bought this table for my son. I did replace the cart with an AT VM95ML (which sounds great). It was easy to level, set up the new cart, and set up the counterweight and anti-skate.I run the RCA out to a Darlington Labs MM phono pre and it sounds fantastic. It's a fantastic entry-level table.
I’ve owned a few Audio Technia turntables in the past and was always happy with them . The build on this table very good and solid the carbon straight tone arm is plus although I would reckon getting a phono pre amp the internal one is just okay but that should not be deal breaker .I did change the...
Excellent turntable.
The cartridge carrier (headshell) is not parallel to the platter/vinyl surface and it's not something a user can cause or adjust according to tech support, it's that way out of the box. The amount is quite large and quickly visible and obvious. It can affect the L-R balance and quality on playback.
