The sound is what I expected. This cartridge sounds very good in all turntables I’ve heard it with. The tonearm does a great job of interfacing it to the vinyl.

Love this turntable. Absolutely the best value for the price. Sounds amazing, works flawlessly, outclasses any similarly priced table. Recommend!

Audio Technica stated that the built the table around the VM cart. After listening to this table, I am likely to believe that. Everything sounds well-balanced and detailed and that was right out of the box!

Definitely wasn't expecting this kind of quality table at this price point! highly recommend it!

Purchased for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It looks very stylish and is a great little record player.

The cartridge carrier (headshell) is not parallel to the platter/vinyl surface and it's not something a user can cause or adjust according to tech support, it's that way out of the box. The amount is quite large and quickly visible and obvious. It can affect the L-R balance and quality on playback.
