Audio-Technica ATR2500-USB Condenser USB Microphone

Good mike, fairly low inherent noise and perfect for voice. If you want to use the headset function in Windows, go to sounds and the playback section and enable the Audio Technica speakers choice. The plastic mike stand is sort of lame but does the job.

I use it for podcasting and screen casting. The included stand is awful, but it works very nicely with a boom stand and spider mount. The no-delay headphone jack is a nice touch. If price is a concern but you want a nice microphone for podcasts, this is a great place to begin.

I have the AT2020USB and love it so much that I decided to try the ATR2500-USB for remote narration recording. I purchased two... One for myself and another for contributer to my CubifyFans blog.

I use this mic for voice overs on youtube. And the quality of audio is fantastic. Very little work is needed to be done to cancel out background noise. I love this mic.

I had doubts prior to purchasing this mic. But I am very glad I bought it. Very good quality audio. I record guitar acoustics and it sounds great.

Filled my need of having an extra, decent-for-the-cost mic for extra sports live streaming on my ipad. Note you'll need proper cords, in this case, Apple camera cord (oddly named but it's the one you'll need) and some type of hub/connector to translate the USB into an ipad.

Use it for making Youtube videos and audition tapes. Great audio quality, easy to use with all software and platforms.

Good range of voice. Sounds rich and full. Mic stand not the greatest, but price is still good for the mic.

I was surprised to find that the stand with this mic was very flimsy and did not do a good job of allowing multiple angles w/ the mic (unless you are OK with it falling over).The mic itself was OK, but it did not reduce my sibilants as much as I had hoped (although to be fair, I have heavy sibilants...

Shipped timely, easy as plugging in via provided USB, and start recording with any recording program you have! Excellent quality :D
