I am using this to perform a song i am currenlty writing for a songwriting class through Berklee College of Music and coursera
I can't tell any sound difference between these microphones and my Shure SM-48's (yeah, I am a budget guy). I am a part-time DJ that gigs at least one night a weekend, and sometimes 2 times a weekend.

These mics are very well built, metal screen and body. Feel good in your hand and are easily switched on and off with the switch.

The bad thing is the dumb XLR-1/4" cord that comes with it. This needs to be thrown away and replaced with a quality XLR-XLR cable.
I bought two of these. I film weddings and these work great for catching audio from the people, music, etc. Can't complain about these at all, they are nothing fancy but they do the job and pick up nicely.
Bought this to replace an old mic that I thought would be the same quality as the prices were about the same. This mic is much better than anticipated. Great response and feel. Will recommend to my other DJ buddies.
We use this microphone in professional broadcasting and it always works well.
I use this microphone on my communication radio transceivers as a ham radio operator. It has excellent fidelity in the voice range, and I can only imagine it does the same for musical instruments. I have to say that Audio Technica got it right with this mic.
The professional look and quality when connected to my audio recorder.

for the price it's hard to imagine a better deal. quality appears to be very good and and would work very well in a variety of applications. large possibilities for a small investment.
Works great for the price. I would recommend to purchase mike.
