When my wife runs off with the review gear before I even get a chance to check it out, I know it’s gonna be something good. In this case, she saw the slick-looking Audio-Technica ATH-AD900 headphones , planted ’em on her dome, and never looked back.

Comfy like a La-Z-Boy, but much more lively. Large 53-mm drivers give a frequency response between 5 and 35,000 Hz. Lightweight, durable design. Ear fatigue not an issue.

Bass-heads need not apply. Wearing these, don’t be surprised if people peg you for a Trekkie.
These cans are comfortable and swank, but have a somewhat odd frequency response.
Spectacular cans with a low barrier to entry, the ATH-AD900s are a great first step to high-end audio.
Audio-Technica's headphones are known to PC enthusiasts for the precision, positionality, and soundstage that these reproduce when used for gaming. Today, we will examine one of its pricier models.
I like this product and the way it sounds. Just my opinion.
So far from these headphones I can notice a very large and great soundstage and instrument seperaration. Complex and well recorded drumming sounds very tight and dynamic. The bass is probably the only low point on these, but it doesnt affect anything in my case cause I like music to sound like it...
The A-T AD900s are a wonderful headphone, especially for the price of ~$230. The lows are very detailed and not boomy at all, however, it doesn't extend terribly deep, though more than many, and the impact is pretty good. Mids are smooth yet detailed, and there aren't any dips or peaks.
