Great alternative to a wireless mic. Clean sound and very durable. Windscreen is snug and doesn't fall off.
We use these microphones when videotaping depositions. The quality of the sound is more important than the visual image and sometimes deponents are so soft spoken that only a top quality microphone can pick up there voice. This is the best mic we have found.
We have 4 of these at work in a small studio where we record talk-show type interviews. There is no way for us to turn off the air handlers in the ceiling, so omni mics have a huge noise noise floor. These mics greatly reduce that.
