I use it with a Tascam DR-40 and a Sound Devices MixPre for documentary interviews. It outputs low-noise, great-quality sound. It is a little big, so makes it a little more difficult to hide, but it's not too bad.

I brought this mic to use along side my Senn G3 Wireless Lav mic when i have more than one interview subject and was instantly blown away by the quality of the sound it records. Using this with a Zoom H5 i ended up with a very very low noise floor and amazing fidelity.

I needed a quality lav on a budget, and debated getting a cheap wireless or a nice wired. I'm glad I chose this. I use this hooked into a Tascam DR-40 and also directly into the camera at times. I'm pleased with the sound. Good isolation and solid range for a lav mic.

Great mics for a good starter professional price. Unfortunately, I had to do the interview without windscreens, as they were way too large for the mics.

Today I tested my AT803B mic with my Zoom H4N recorder. I honestly didn't know what to expect to hear from this microphone, however it performed better than expected. I did a comparison test between this mic and that of the Rode NTG-2 mic and they both sounded very similar.

I recommend it 100% very practical I give it a 5 star rating. The larger size gives it a really great sound. If you are looking for a relatively low cost lavalier mic with Professional performance using XLR, theAudio-Technica AT803B can be your choice.

I've used this mic on almost every project I've worked on since 2012. It has yet to give me any problems. I use it with my GH4 and JuicedLink and the sound quality is excellent. For $$it's a great value. The only thing I wish it had was a low battery indicator.

Solid mic for the money. I use it as a backup mic for video production. Sounds good. No complaints.

I bought this to complement my Sony wireless lav mic package. Kind of BIG though

This condenser microphone is amazing!! The sound is crystal clear and the price is even better!! Lavs can cost a lot of money but this was only $! As soon as I purchased the mic I tested it and it was great.
