We use this microphone on a 20' stand to capture the audio of our high school band's halftime performances. Works very well.
used for large auditorium / vocal and jazz concert - crisp, clear, open sound with low noise
great sound pic up for focus group
I have had this mic for over two years and have been very pleased with the results. I use it primarily for loud rock shows and it has not let me down. It captures a true sound--even at higher dBs--with nice stereo separation.
I am a professional videographer. This microphone is proving to be an excellent solution for video recording choral concerts. I always setup my camcorder at the back of the auditorium and need to set microphones much closer to the singers and in front of the audience as much as possible.
in about 10 mph wind with windtech mm-26 there was lot of low freq, buffeting noise. otherwise, great sound and good kit of connectors/mounts
Great compact mic
Needed to capture sound from stage performances and it does gret. Used for recitals and weddings.
Great stereo microphone for live field recording. Both phantom and battery powered.
I bought the AT8022 mic for use with a Kodak Zi8 video camera to capture live recordings of acoustic fingerstyle guitar playing, because the audio quality of the built-in mic, as expected, is so-so. With my set-up, the audio quality of the playback is quite realistic, as if you were hearing it live.
