Although it falls just shy of Beyerdynamic's Fox for outright recording quality, this is still an incredible mic for relatively little outlay. At home in streaming, podcasting or music recording environments, it's a studio mic with the ease of a USB plugin.
Close to the best USB mic we've heard, Handy lag-free monitoring, Versatile, Brings in pleasant room sound at distance
Tripod stand is a balancing act, Not quite up to the Beyerdynamic's sound quality, Picks up keyboard clicks, More polar patterns would have been a bonus
The Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ microphone offers pro-level quality in an easy-to-use top-quality build.
One of the best budget mics you can buy right now that's easy to use, provides crisp audio, and is built to last.
New product in sight for all home studio owners looking to save some money and space in their studio or bedroom!
Price (approx. $150 new!), Remarkable sound quality for its price, Manufacturing quality, All-in-one concept ideal for light setups
The lack of an analog gain before digital conversion, The difficulty to record percussion instruments or sources at very high volumes without digitally clipping the mic due to the reason stated above, The difficulty or even impossibility to use it with other mics/soundcards
Audio-Technica’s AT2020 is often recommended as mic whose subjective results seem much better than you’d expect for the very modest price tag, and launching a USB version must have been a no-brainer for the company.
As soon as I started singing.. I was like wow this is a wonderful tone..love it!Mind you I have not added eq or any type of processing yet..at this price it's a steal Musical Background: Song writer producer Musical Style: Jazz gospel
It's working out well.
Great Intonation, Great Sound, Highly Responsive
Simple. Great price, but greater sound. Easy to set up, perfect size, very durable, great features. Highly accurate sound reproduction across the frequency spectrum. Superb for all kinds of audio recording/processing. Highly recommend.
Good mic. Usb is convenient. Nice little bag for usb cable and stand.
It has great quality, especially for the price. Also, it is very easy to use and if you do have any problems, the people at Sweetwater are always willing to help out. It is also durable so if you do happen to drop it once in awhile it still sounds great. Overall, it is a great product and I love it!
Very good quality in terms of entry level USB mic, the 3.5mm jack connection on the mic is a nice addition
It's very nice. Just plug it in to start using it.Also has a 3.5mm jack so you have an easier way of plugging your earphones/headphones. You can also use this to listen to yourself and what the mic is picking up which is very convenient for making sure everything is working properly and sounds...
Got on sale, dont regret it, works well for what I use it for
For the money this is a great deal - the headphones are great for podcasting and comfortableThe microphone is great but needs to be tweaked in the audio settings to get better performance
The hole for the mic is smaller than the screw on the arm so can’t screw on properly causing it to fall. Bought 2x now, same issue.
