The retail price has to be remembered when listening to this upgraded mass market product. It hastaken little added cash value to add considerable audiophile values to the basic and competant Audio TechnicaLP5 .
I've listened to my album daily and multiple times, its amazing. I'm not a pro but i definitely am happy with the LP5. The component cables are only about 3ft long. For my set-up it was a close fit, but easy to fix.

Easy Controls, Easy To Set Up, Looks Great
Returning for a new unit. Slight grinding noise on startup and there was a decent amount of platter wobble. Frustrating as I want to love it. Fingers crossed the new unit resolves the issue.
Hard to find a better turntable for the money! So sick of the flimsy turntable out there, sneeze and the belt would fall off!

Durable, Easy Controls, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound
I just installed this and its nice to be able to listen to our old vinyl. The setup is fast and easy. we are very happy with this purchase.
I recently purchased my AT-LP5 as an addition to my Cambridge Audio home stereo. The AT-LP5 matches the understated aesthetics of the Cambridge Audio equipment and while providing a solid price performance turntable.

Durable, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound, Simple Controls
We did a lot of research before we bought this turntable - and the reviews are right. It is superb in every way. The sound, the look, the ease of use and the superior finishes are all there.
I bought this turntable 1 week ago to replace my Linn Sondek LP12. In my opinion this turntable sounds just as good if not better and has so many more features. Direct drive, two speed, pre amplifier built in and digital USB output and if that isn't enough, it looks great.
I was looking for a decent turntable, having bought a dodgy Rega Turntable and had nothing but problems. I thought I'd check out this turntable from Audio Technica. Well unpacking the beast was a job in itself, with each component firmly secured.
I bought the LP5 after looking at LP 120 and the Project turntables, I connected it to a Denon AVR and Dali speakers. It was packed very well with clear instructions for the assembly and alignment of the tonearm and perspex lid. The unit connected directly into the Phono jacks of the AVR input.
Paired this turntable with some Klipsch active reference speakers. I'm really pleased with the purchase. The sound is fantastic, easy to set up, looks great in my listening room.
