“Pretty and speedy, but happily not very spendy, the Amazfit GTR 2 smartwatch has the looks and ability to take on more expensive activity trackers from the big names.”

Pretty design, Low price, Comfortable to wear day and night, Solid casual activity and sleep -tracking features
-

Still some software improvements required, Battery life suffers when many features used

Among the many new Amazfit watches that have launched in 2020, the GTR 2 is one that stands out for the right reasons. It looks good, with plenty of features to get stuck into. It's better for Android users, which means it's going up against the likes of the Versa 3 and the Huawei Watch GT 2.

Great design, high quality display, Decent fitness tracking, Improved smartwatch features

Amazfit has really stepped up their game with the Amazfit GTR 2 . Not only does this have more features than previous models, but the build quality too is way up there as well. This easily matches up with the Zepp E in terms of quality and appeal, but at a much lower price point.

Great display. Long battery life. More advanced health features than you'd expect at this price range. Offline voice assistant is handy!

Alexa isn't available yet. Design is boring. The Zepp app needs some reworking.

Amazfit has been on a tear this year, releasing new smartwatches at a blistering pace. The latest two options are priced at just $179 and offer customers two different form factors with long battery life, extensive health tracking capability, integrated GPS, onboard music support, and call reception...

It is difficult to find a specific market for these smartwatches. They are light, stylish and pack some decent fitness tracking capabilities but as a smartwatch it just cannot cut it — kind of reminds me of Fitbit a few years ago. They are not super user-friendly with a very steep learning curve.

The Amazfit GTR 2 has a refined design and good tracking abilities – but the accompanying app is still lagging behind rivals.

Clear, borderless screen, Improved exercise tracking, Great battery longevity

The Amazfit GTR 2 gives you a lot of smartwatch for your money. It looks good, offers decent fitness tracking and has now bolstered its abilities to perform outside of tracking steps or sleep with two smart assistants and a music player.

The watch looks pretty. A lot of interesting specs. I can receive and answer the phone calls. The only thing is that it gets disconnected to the app sometimes which really annoyed me and the waking up screen is a little slow. Other than that, it’s great

Love the look, feel and function of the watch so far, my only issue is with battery life, I am barley getting five days with light usage, Gotta tinker to see if I can make that better.

This is my upgrade from the Bip which I've had for over 3 yrs. It's taken a little bit to get used to the larger watch face but I love it.

Overall, the watch has performed MORE THAN EXPECTED. I would and will buy again.

Good looking watch. Works well with iPhone. Excellent battery life

Light weight, casual look , not a sports watch but it does calculate all your health and workout. If you like round dial go for it. worth buying. Can answer calls but cannot make a call or reply to notifications. Also notification reading is not that great. Never compare to iwatch.
