Amana 33" 21 cu. ft. Black Side by Side Refrigerator

This model came with a new home build, we’ve been in the house for 5 weeks now. It looks good but we are waiting for a repair person as everything freezes even at the lowest setting. Called at week 3, took 3 additional weeks to get a repair person here.

We bought this refrigerator 2 weeks ago and have been fighting with the ice maker every morning since. The ice melts during defrost at night and the forms a solid block in the screw mechanism by morning causing it to not dispense ice. Otherwise we love the refrigerator.

The freezer is small, but other than that it's nice

This refrigerator looks very nice with the stainless steel finish. It's a nice size and keeps everything VERY cold. The only reason it last a star is because of the way the handles are attached, they're prone to coming off. But you can easily latch them back on.

After much research I bought this fridge to replace the 16cuft one that came with my house. I love the freezer space, especially the bottom bin. The refrigerator is easy to organize with the movable shelves. The ice maker is awesome. I have had this fridge for 6 months and I am still impressed.

We've had this fridge for 3 months and are very happy with it. Very spacious! Rating would be 5 stars if not for a couple of minor issues. Anything placed on the top shelf in the fridge will freeze and the ice and water dispenser could benefit from a better design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] like a number of features - clear glass shelves so can see what is on all the shelves. like the water/ice dispenser although sometimes accidentally hit the water button when trying to get ice - especially if the glass/cup is tall.

Purchased a new Amana side by side 4 years ago to replace a 24 year old Amana side by side, and gave it a 5 star review. After 4 years of reliable performance, it maintains a 5 star rating, all while operating in the heat and humidity of Louisiana.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this appliance except for I need to get used to the small shelves in freezer. This is my 1st ever side by side or one with an ice maker let alone right on the door.

I've owned this refrigerator for about 2 months now. It's a good refrigerator, but I think the plastic drawers on the right side are not that sturdy. and actually quite flimsy--compared to the 1980s Amana I have in my garage. The bottom drawer does not even close right..
