Defective Grates
I just installed this to replace a GE. I tried to find one locally to look at before I bought it but no one stocks it. The burner grates are AWFUL. I knew they weren't really continuous but they also aren't flat across the top. Pans don't sit evenly or securely and it is dangerous when the pans tilt. I use the oven once in a while but I use the cook top every day. Amana should either redesign the burner grates and replace them free or give me my money back. Overall the construction is cheap with thin oven racks and broiler pan. The oven door handle is too narrow to be a good towel rack.There are also manufacturing and assembly defects. If you want a good solid cook top, don't buy this.

Nice Stove!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove about a month ago. It is a nice little stove for the money. There are not many options available in the 20" size so I took a chance and purchased this stove. The burner flames were all fairly high even when turned to the lowest position, but I had a friend adjust the flame height for me. The top of the grates are a bit slippery as the surfaces of the grates are not flat but rounded. I had to hold on to the handle of my lightweight frying pan but have not had problems with heavier pots and pans. I love the oven light and the oven works well. All in all, I am pleased with it.

Works for what we needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to fit into a small kitchenette in our cabin, and paid a significant premium because of the unique size. The oven works great. Made biscuits, and temp seemed to be accurate and no hot spots. The stove top feels a little cheap. The grates feel a little flimsy, and the burners don't offer much adjustment. Feels like you get extra high or low with minimal in-between. All-in-all it's a good fit for where we needed it, but for the $ (compared to a standard size stove/oven), I think the stove top could have used a little more refinement.

It's a cutie!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range several months ago...things I like...1. you can easily keep the top clean by lifting up the cooking grates, 2. the interior light! and 3. the dials are tight. Things that are questionable...1. pots and pans slide a little on those grates...a little texture would help, 2. taking the bottom of the oven out to clean it is tricky, I haven't figured that one out yet. 3. The dials on the range are backwards from my last range: it starts on high and needs to be adjusted down by going farther into the dial. But I still love it.

Basic, satisfactory for my application
Product works mostly as expected, after 4 months of use. Would be nice to have one burner with even lower heat (4000 BTU), as noted by others. Grate isn't cast iron, and pans slide around some. Oven temp seems accurate and thermostat keeps it constant, as measured by thermometer placed in the oven. Overall this basic "inexpensive", appliance meets my needs. Easy enough to install, be sure to attach anti-tip bracket! I would recommend to others with basic requirements and space limitations.

Everything I wanted in a stove.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this stove for the tiny kitchen in my little cabin up north. Electronic ignition was the primary selling point, along with the compact size of course. NO MORE PILOT LIGHTS to add heat and pollutants to the air! Oven light is also a plus. Important features to keep in mind when buying a small stove that are taken for granted in a full size model.
We encountered two issues with this stove. A little challenging when converting to LP gas, but that can happen with any stove upgrade. Love the removable top grates for cooking and cleanup however they are not quite level so pans can rock/wobble back and forth while cooking. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We generally really like our stove. We upgraded from a 20 year old Hotpoint, so there have been some significant improvements in that time. We like the window, and the fact that it actually fits a half baking sheet with the door fully closed. The only real downside is that the burners do not go low enough. Even the “low” setting on the small burners will cook off the water from rice before the top of the pot is cooked. I have had to seriously adjust my cooking and have burned a fair number of dishes along the way.

Great Stove Small Cabin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this stove in our cabin since last last May. The 20" size is perfect for a small galley kitchen & has worked great. When it was delivered, we had to convert it from natural gas to propane - the instruction manual made this very easy to do (you do need to have a small screw driver & a crescent wrench). Have used the oven & broiler as well & the temperatures seems consistent. One off the main selling points of this unit for us is the raised burners - makes it easy to keep clean. We would buy this again.
