very pleased with the sound, manufacter states thats a closed sub you can find a downfiring reflex port.there is a hpf at 85hz for the mains and 50-150hz selection range for sub but can not alter the actual crossover frequency. phase reverse only 0 or180 fixed.
Good subwoofer for a near/average field. Will perfectly add lines of Adam since a3x. Sounding to become much better. Itself I use 2.1 together with adam a5x and s2x. It allows to unload the bottom range. Forcing monitors to sound in more detail on average frequencies.
Great piece of kit, super adjustable and great build quality.
