Acer V226HQL Bbd 21.5" 16:9 LCD Monitor

I connected the monitor with a DisplayPort to DVI cable, which may have been a factor in my issue.

  PC did not detect 1920x1080 as available resolution initially; installed driver and I was able to set 1080p, but windows on this screen flickered up and down by about 3 pixels making the monitor effectively unusable.

- Oct 7, 2017: This item worked (and still works) very very well, no issues with it so far. I just have once suggestion, when assembling it (the three parts), it could be better for stability if there were two additional slots to slide the pegs into, other than that, (aside from the color difference...

In my previous review I mentioned that the audio on the monitor only goes through the analog audio input jack, but I was mistaken. The audio, should you choose to use it, will work over the DisplayPort connector.

We have about 110 of these now at a few locations and we have only had two with issues. They are fairly basic monitors, but they fit the bill for us. Big thing we needed was Vesa mount and they had to have at least one vga, and one dvi port.

I only would deduct 1/2 star for the speaker sound, otherwise excellent monitor worth 5 stars

  awesome colors in computer mode built-in speakers comes with all the cables (vga, dvi and hdmi) nice features automatically switches to input mode according to what you are using (vga, dvi or hdmi) compatible with ROKU using HDMI

  speaker sound is low even thought set to max and pc setting. colors not adjustable when use with ROKU system

Works ok. Everything is as described but the display on the one I have doesn't have the brightest colors as the other monitors I've used. I worked what I could on the controls but never made it much better. Good price.

There are other choices of monitor that are cheaper if you don't need speakers. So pretty much pass on this one either way.

  Nice looking monitor. Decent stable stand, nice colors for the price.

  Speakers! I specifically bought this for the speakers to save desktop space. However, the speakers aren't powered in any way so they are very quiet. Only if you are in a completely silent room are they loud enough, and even then that's pretty iffy. Just horrible.

I have owned and used this monitor for over a year for both video games and software development. I love it so much that I am now purchasing 2 more for a triple monitor setup. I deducted one star because it claims to be "zero frame", but there is definitely ~1/2 inch on every side of the screen.

Bought this to use with a raspberry pi because of the hdmi port, but there ended up not being one on the monitor so...

  Nice colors, worked out of the box with no stuck pixels. I was surprised that it only weighs about half as much as my monitor of the same size from a few years ago.

  I bought it specifically because it said it had an hdmi port but there isn't one. I'm only taking off one egg because this monitor was so much cheaper than others of the same specs that even if you have to buy a dvi to hdmi adapter it could still win on price.

great monitor, other than the fact that after playing PAYDAY 2 for 10 minutes parts of the HUD from the game got "burned" into the monitor so now no matter where i go in my pc i see the HUD from PAYDAY 2
