The 27-inch Acer Predator XB271HU offers very good gaming performance, a fully adjustable stand, and lots of style.
Nvidia G-Sync anti-tearing technology. Very good gaming and gray-scale performance. Fast refresh rate. Stylish design.
Expensive. Middling color accuracy. Weak speakers. Only two video inputs.
When it comes to PC gamers, the demand in quality can sometimes take outrageous directions. The best and the shiniest, in terms of looks or features, are aspects of a product that appeal to gamers young and veteran.
If you're an Nvidia gamer then this is just about the finest gaming monitor you can currently buy.
Superb overall image quality, G-Sync eliminates tearing and stutter, 165Hz IPS panel is fantastic for gaming, Good design and build quality
Expensive, Only two inputs, Speakers are weak
This monitor is tough to review because it is a fantastic monitor plagued by poor quality control.I received a monitor manufactured in February of 2016. It was pretty easy to set up and since I was upgrading from a 5 year old 1080p monitor I was immediately stunned by the quality in picture.
This monitor is very nice, but i really hate that it came with a defect such as backlight bleed, you cant see it until you look at like say an all black screen or maybe dark games or videos such as RE7, disappointed, but I'll put up with it.
really, really smooth jumping from laptop screen to this
This also came with backlight bleed. Thanks.
I would say price is a con, but cmon. You pay for the best, and imo, you're getting the best. I was tossing between this and the ASUS, and the few minor extra features this one gave for uniqueness, made me go for this. Upgrading from 60 Hz is an unreal experience.
OSD is a little confusing
If you want a great image quality and definition + super smooth gameplay, look no further. in my opinion 1440p 165HZ ips G-Sync is the way to go. I would recommend this monitor to users that want the best.
Very good performance.
An excellent monitor, worth the extra cost. Use this monitor for gaming, data analysis, programming and video editing. No issues what-so-ever. Out of the box monitor is rock-solid and after installing the updated drivers and a couple of adjustments, it's even better...
